first time staying at this hotel and despite being a 3 star hotel, the hotel is good with spacious rooms, good variety of breakfast and great location which is just next to wenhua night market. however I didn't see many facilities within the hotel except a restaurant. staff members were generally friendly and helpful but I faced one or two staff at the reception who seemed impatient to answer my questions. check-in and checkout were quick which was fantastic. overall, I will still come back to stay with thos hotel if I visit chiayi again.

I stayed at Maison de Chine Hotel Chiayi 7 years ago and remember having a decent impression. I chose this hotel again for this trip to Chiayi. Note that the hotel parking lot has height restrictions. Bicycles are available for free rental, allowing you to slowly explore the Chiayi city area by bike. In the evening, there's a happy hour in the lobby on the first floor for hotel guests, with snacks, coffee, cocktails, and beer available.

The lobby is spacious, and the rooms are clean. The front desk staff is friendly, and the pool is great. It's a shame that this time I booked a room without breakfast. Overall, I think this is a very nice hotel. I would choose to stay here again next time I visit Chiayi!

2025.10.03-05 Chiayi Fanlu Township Persimmon Festival Trip First Stop - Delford Express Hotel Not far from the train station, the first floor is a Taiwan Cooperative Bank, and the hotel is on floors 5-11. After getting my key card, I couldn't open the door to my room. I had to go back down to the lobby to ask them to fix it, but it still wouldn't open. The second time I went down, the girl at the front desk said it might be out of battery, so she came upstairs with her tools. Got a live show of watching a cute hotel staff change the door lock battery 😂😂😂😂 After dropping off my luggage, I went to the lobby to drink the unlimited supply of soda. Went out to buy dinner and brought it back to the hotel to continue enjoying with soda. -- Breakfast was a buffet, pretty basic but filling. But the only cold drink was orange juice, which was a bummer. The soy milk and coffee were both hot. Why didn't they put soda out here~~~~ But the view from the restaurant window was beautiful, made the meal enjoyable. [Overall Thoughts] The bedsheets in the room were clean, the bed was hard, and the pillows were soft. The towels and bath towels were clean and usable. No disposable amenities, but there was body wash and shampoo. It's great that you can buy food and comfortably eat it in the seating area next to the lobby with free soda.

Seriously, this hotel is the best! We booked it last minute because the typhoon stranded us in Chiayi, but the staff were super helpful and spoke English, and the hotel was spotless and beautiful! We crashed as soon as we got there. And the breakfast? Amazing! So many different dumplings. I hope we can go back sometime!

A huge thank you to the extremely helpful male receptionist who was on duty at 1:30 PM on October 13th. I left a plastic bag containing six souvenir packages in the lobby. I didn't realize it until I got to the train station, so I quickly called the front desk to confirm. They said they had it, and I told them I would take a taxi back immediately to get it. I told the taxi driver to keep the meter running, and that I would just run in and come right back out. Unexpectedly, when I arrived at the entrance, I saw that the same receptionist was already waiting for me at the door with the bag in hand. I was so sorry for the trouble! Thank you so much for your help. Also, the room was large and comfortable – a great experience overall.

Le personnel de la réception était extrêmement aimable. En raison du typhon, la piscine située à l'étage supérieur était fermée, ils nous ont donc offert des coupons pour des boissons. Les boissons que nous avons échangées étaient délicieuses et magnifiquement présentées ✨.

Il y a des installations en réparation près du restaurant, et ce n'est pas très agréable à voir. Si possible, si elles n'ont pas encore été réparées, embellissez-les pour que cela n'affecte pas l'opinion que les clients se font de vous. C'est vraiment dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'activités pour Halloween.

The location is convenient, not far from Chiayi Station, and across from the Railway Park. It's about a 10-minute walk to Hinoki Village and the night market, which is very convenient. The room is large and comfortable, the soundproofing is good, and the facilities are new. The bed is on the softer side and very comfortable to sleep on. Highly recommended!!!! Breakfast: Mostly Chinese style, with porridge, stir-fries, salad, chicken nuggets, fries, toast, and coffee. The taste is also good.
