Guam

Stayed for seven nights, and after reading many reviews, I thought it would be terrible, but it turned out better than expected. The location is great, with easy access to shopping. The room was clean, and you can request amenities from the front desk (toilet paper, towels). The water pressure was strong and hot enough, and the air conditioning was super cold and comfortable. You can bring your own hangers to dry clothes outside; the AC's outdoor unit dries them quickly (1-2 items). The front desk staff is also very friendly and can help you call a taxi to the airport for around $30 USD. I would definitely choose this place again next time. The only downside is that if the shops are closed, you have to take a longer route to get out. The hotel also offers a laundry room service hidden next to the main entrance. If you need to get water, you can go to the gym (I only found out in the last few days, and the front desk doesn't actively tell you).

I would like to commend Sir Jun Ego for his outstanding assistance during our entire stay at Hotel Nikko Guam. From the very first day until our check-out, he went above and beyond to make sure we were well accommodated. He guided us on how to find transportation, introduced us to taxis, explained the use of Stroll, provided details about bus availability and schedules, and even suggested places we could visit during our trip. His efforts truly made our stay smoother and more enjoyable. Sir Jun played a huge part in completing our trip, and we are deeply grateful for his help. We highly, highly commend him for his excellent service.

The staff handover seemed a little out of it, they asked the next person in line, who was already registered, again. Also, the elevator doors close really slowly, and the shaking is pretty intense; it feels like an accident is waiting to happen. And I don't know why the air conditioning in the lobby has to be so cold.

The hotel staff, from the concierge to the housekeeping staff, was friendly. Our room was clean and cozy. The AC kept the room cold (which is nice for Guam). There was only one bath towel upon our arrival, which wasn’t a huge deal but just surprising since there was two of everything else. A couple of hand towels and washcloths would’ve been useful. Concerning the safe in our room: we followed the instructions several times, and the safe wouldn’t lock, so we weren’t able to use the it for our valuables; it may need some sort of maintenance or repair. Overall, we a comfortable stay.

C'était génial ! ! ! ! ! Comme c'était ma première plongée avec tuba et que j'étais seule, j'étais très nerveuse et anxieuse avant le départ, et j'avais toujours peur que l'eau soit trop profonde et que ce soit effrayant. Mais le patron et le plongeur ont été très chaleureux et aimables pour m'aider. Je me suis bien amusée et j'ai vraiment vu des tortues 🐢 et même des dauphins 🐬 ! L'eau de Guam est très claire, donc même dans les eaux un peu plus éloignées, on peut clairement voir les coraux et les créatures des fonds marins. Les gilets de sauvetage et l'équipement de snorkeling sont très professionnels et on se sent très en sécurité. Bref, c'est une expérience formidable pour moi qui vis dans une grande ville depuis mon enfance ! Je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui viennent à Guam, n'hésitez vraiment pas 👍🏻

Bien que nous n'ayons pas vu de dauphins, l'expérience de snorkeling et de pêche dans les eaux de Guam était amusante. Si vous êtes sujet au mal de mer, il est conseillé de prendre des médicaments à l'avance. Le trajet en bateau étant long, le mal de mer l'a rendu un peu difficile, mais c'était amusant. J'espère voir des dauphins la prochaine fois.

The show with the dinner buffet was so much fun. Highly recommended! The fire show at the end was the highlight. The aboriginal dance was also great to watch.
