Toyoko Inn Gotemba is in a perfect location—right in front of Gotemba Station, which makes it super convenient for travelers. There’s also a free shuttle bus to the Gotemba Premium Outlets that stops right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for both shopping and sightseeing around Mt. Fuji!

There’s a lot to be said for staying in Gotemba Dormy inn. The rooms are super clean without a shadow of a doubt and the staff who are working there are friendly and helpful as always. Highly recommended.

professional ran property. my wife and two kids stayed in the private Onsen suite and really enjoyed our stay. The garden/pond was nice to take a walk in with the kids in the morning. the property is well maintained and the room was immaculate with cleaning detail. we als visited the public onsen and the kids loved it. especially the cold bath. we will stay next time we are in the area for sure. This is a resort. we also enjoyed a rotating sushi spot nearby.

The staff were incredibly polite and professional. Check-in was swift and for the check-out, just leave the hotel before 10:00am.
The complimentary breakfast was varied and surprisingly good, offering a mix of Japanese and Western options. It was a great way to start the day without needing to find a separate restaurant. The fresh bread rolls were excellent.
The free amenities were also a plus.
My request for a high floor & with the view of Mt. Fuji was accomodated. Sad thing though, was that on out first morning, it was very cloudy and there's no view of Mt. Fuji. But on our final day, it was very clear and can see the majestic beauty of the Mt. Fuji.
The only setback was the location, about 15 min. walking distance from Gotemba station. There's a local bus service but has only 1 trip per day that charges a flat fare of 180yen. From the hotel to Gotemba station at 9:43am. But it is a good jump-off point between Fuji Kawaguchiko & Hakone.

Hotel is right across the bus station going to Subashiri or Gotemba jump off point for Mt Fuji, so if you're traveling for this purpose, this hotel is the perfect for your stay. We booked the day before and after our climb. They can hold your luggage with no charge if you are to check-in again upon your return from Mt Fuji. If you will also explore other attractions, you can ride buses going to other attractions like Kawaguchiko and many more in the same bus station or ride the train- train station is also just right across.. they also offer buffet breakfast, though the options are limited, it was more than sufficient fir us, plus the tub is superb after the climb to soak your body in warm water.. overall, it was a convenient stay for us, as we didn't have to walk far after the climb or book a cab.

Ce fut une expérience formidable et très amusante avec Christy comme guide et notre chauffeur Asama qui a rendu le voyage sûr et sans encombre !! Elle a rendu tout le voyage agréable avec son humour tout en étant professionnelle dans son travail. 5 étoiles dans l'ensemble 😄

Notre guide, Mizki, était excellent et donnait des explications très claires. Il était amical et expliquait les choses avec précision, ce qui rendait l'écoute agréable. Le temps alloué à chaque étape du parcours était suffisant pour profiter pleinement des visites, prendre des photos et explorer les lieux. Mizki nous a bien guidés tout au long du parcours et lors du retour. Pendant les trajets en bus, il nous a donné des explications sur l'histoire et les lieux en anglais, et son anglais était très facile à comprendre et excellent.
