In the show, the bridge forms the iconic backdrop for the controversial perfume ad, where the model walks down it undressed while the gazes of a line of men in suits follow her as she goes.

The spot where Thomas and Emily were supposed to watch the Swan Lake performance together is the dazzling Palais Garnier, Paris's iconic 1,979-seat opera house. Be sure to add this onto your checklist the next time you're in Paris, this masterpiece of the 19th century will blow you away.

3. L'Atelier des Lumières

This is definitely one of our favourite scenes in the series! The digital exhibition that Emily, Gabriel, and Camille visited is the stunning L'Atelier des Lumières, a digital art space that presents classic pieces in immersive formats, just like the one we saw in the series featuring Vincent Von Gogh's Starry Night artwork.

Unfortunately, the exhibition changes from time-to-time and it isn't guaranteed that you would be able to watch the same Van Gogh exhibition.

4. Terra Nera

The restaurant where Gabriel works at in the show has attracted throngs of fans since its appearance on Emily In Paris! Though known as Les Deux Compères in the series, in reality, the restaurant is a charming little Italian bistro named Terra Nera.

Fun fact: the restaurant even rolled out a new dish in tribute to the show - fans who visit Terra Nera can dig into "Tagliata di manzo Emily", a sliced beef tenderloin served with arugula, cheese shavings, and vinegar sauce. *drools* We hope it'll still be on the menu when we visit after the pandemic!

5. Boulangerie Moderne by Thierry Rabineau

The little bakery where Emily bought a Pain au Chocolat that tasted too good to be true is Boulangerie Moderne by Thierry Rabineau, an artisanal bakery that serves up a variety of humble French pastries and fresh bread.

6. Rue de l'Abreuvoir

emily in paris filming locations prettiest street in paris
In the show, Mindy introduces Emily to "the prettiest street in Paris" after a fun night out. This street looked pretty in the series, but is even prettier in real life. We didn't manage to catch a clear look in the series as the scene was filmed at night, but the street is extremely picturesque in the daylight.

Dotted with cute French buildings, ivy-covered homes, and paved with rustic cobblestones - Rue de l'Abreuvoir is picture-perfect and oh-so-charming. The street can get quite busy in the day, so if you'd like to avoid the crowds, head over early in the morning or late at night just like Emily and Mindy did!

7. Jardin du Luxembourg

Emily's early morning routine included jogs along the perfectly landscaped paths of Jardin du Luxembourg (also known as Luxembourg Gardens in English). The 23-hectare park is filled with amazing gardens, sprawling lawns, tree-lined promenades, ponds, and even a picturesque fountain built in 1620. Pack a picnic spread and head over for a nice afternoon out in the sun.

The park offers a peaceful vibe and lots of sprawling spaces to sit, people-watch, and even have picnics at. Make sure you leave some breathing space in your travel itinerary to just head over, find a bench, and watch the day go by for a bit. Who knows you might even bump into a new friend like Emily did *winks*.

9. Café de Flore

Known as one of the oldest coffeehouses in Paris, Cafe de Flore is famous for being the 'hangout spot' of high-profile writers, artists, and philosophers in the past. Their famous clientele included people like Pablo Picasso, Léon-Paul Fargue, and Raymond Queneau.

10. Le Grand Véfour

Remember the Michelin-star restaurant that Emily tried to make a dinner reservation for? Le Grand Véfour is one of the oldest and most distinguished restaurants in Paris! With two proud Michelin stars, a sophisticated menu, and an impressive interior, Le Grand Véfour is definitely very grand.
We're not sure whether it's really that hard to make a reservation like shown in the series, but you can try doing so on the restaurant's official website if you're up for a fancy dinner when in Paris!

11. The Panthéon
