Live music in the evening . Good location for bars and shops and beach . Pool quite shaded by trees but that made it good for a cool down .

The resort was fine and the staff were helpful but the snorkeling was only marginal but having said that we have snorkeled in some of the best areas in the world.

Comfortable cozy, clean room. Bed was so nice. Staff were so accommodating and attentive to my needs. Balcony offered a good sight to the pool area. Bathroom had very hot water and shower. The bidet was kind to my behind. Towels are soft. Restaurant offered great tasting homegrown food. At night, there was live entertainment at the resto. This resort is a stone’s throw walking distance to the beach. Overall, excellent stay.

Ok I will start with the good. The hotel room was very nice, roomy and clean. The reception staff were very helpful and the cleaning staff were fantastic. I accidentally left some cash in my room and the cleaning staff helped me "organize" it and placed it nicely on the desk. Please note that the reception staff can help book tours and ferries for you but those must be paid in cash. The hotel is in a perfect location,right on the beach in the center of all the action. Very convenient. Downside is that at night it can be noisy with all of the competing karaoke belting at full volume. My room was in the back so it was quiet and I could sleep. I recommend a room in the back building if you are a light sleeper. The restaurant on the other hand was not as enjoyable. The food was ok, but the staff really are not attentive and you have to wave them down to get their attention, except for Jude who was great. The wait staff really could use some more training.

Excellent location on Alona Beach Right in the action, but the rooms are set back so they are nice and quiet. Has a decent restaurant and fun bar at night with a band. You do not hear the band from the rooms. Guestroom, spacious and clean. A good breakfast included. Excellent value for money. Alona Beach is where everyone else on Panglao comes to at night

We had a wonderful week at Alona Vida Beach Resort! Staff was exceptional, great food! Loved the whole vibe! Band is great! Perfect location!
