This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Montmartre. The property is located on a quiet street just off of Rue des Abbesses and an easy walk to Sacre Coeur and other picturesque streets. I loved the beautiful artsy decor through out the property, the cleanliness, the thoughtful touches, the friendly staff and the small but well appointed room. I would happily stay again!

The room was extremely small, and the bathroom was even smaller. I understand that smaller rooms are common in Paris, but this did not feel like a 4-star hotel experience. There wasn’t even enough space to fully open our luggage, which made the room very inconvenient. The hotel also did not provide bathrobes, slippers, and they had an outdated blow dryer. Overall, this hotel did not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star property, and I wouldn’t consider it a good value for the price.

We were unsure what area in Paris to stay in and selected Montmarte because it seemed to have many walkable sites and markets. It surpassed our expectations! The Hotel Des Artes is a jewel box. It’s comfortable, though snug, beautiful, convenient and just off the Main Street. The staff was authentic and interested in providing a wonderful experience to the guests. I will stay there again on any future visits to Paris!

Hotel des Artes Montmartre is a wonderful boutique hotel located in the heart of a vibrant community. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were treated with ultimate hospitality by every member of the staff. The next time I'm in Paris, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
