You can not find a better location. You have the hub of Animate and so many bars and restaurants available. The rooms have very comfortable beds and all the basic amenities you need. The mall has an entrance connected to the hotel as well as a family mart inside the hotel.

Room is dusty and we could see dust on the floor. Bathroom is always clean though. Staff at the lobby is helpful. Hotel is dated but location is the best.

Really nice, big hotel. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The room is bigger than a traditional Japanese hotel room. The laundry room is big enough you'll most likely find an available machine. The location is amazing, you can almost spend an entire day never going outside. The hotel, room, and bathroom is starting to show its age, but it's still very nice and we'll definitely be back.

The hotel is about a 14-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. It doesn't sound far, but after walking 30k steps a day, it definitely feels like it. The lobby looks nice, but room 1535 was dated and not very clean. The window tracks were dusty, the carpet looked like it needed a deep clean, and the AC barely worked. There was also stain on the lower half of the shower curtain. We asked to switch rooms, but the hotel was full, so housekeeping replaced the curtain and brought us a fan instead. The walls are also very thin—we could hear people walking and talking outside the room. The only positives were the easy automated check-in/check-out, the attached Family Mart, the onsite washers and dryers, and the airport bus stops at the hotel, which were really convenient. It didn't feel like a 4-star hotel. The rooms need much better maintenance and cleanliness. I would not come back to this hotel.

Being attached to a shopping mall made for convenient shopping and dining choices. Having a Family Mart on the ground floor was nice too. Ikebukuro Station is neither convenient nor inconvenient. It’s about a 15 minute walk.

This was a convenient and nice place to stay. Lots of breakfast choices and overall I would recommend this location for anyone visiting Tokyo.
