Really enjoyed my stay. The room overlooked the river and had great views of the mountains, too. It was a nice break from being in the busier parts of Kyoto. You’re also super close to the bamboo forest and other lovely gardens. The staff was attentive and super helpful, especially when it was pouring outside and they offered a plastic bag to cover my luggage without me even asking. It was very useful in keeping my belongings dry. I can definitely recommend a stay here!

Great price and quaint location away from hustle of Kyoto city. Just nice for early morning walk to bamboo forest when no one is there. Would stay again. Thanks!

Oltiin kumppanin kanssa

Favourite hotel in Japan 10 minute walk from the bamboo Grove and five minute walk to the entrance of the monkey farm Secluded and a patio area to drink tea. We were even given umbrellas for the rain and they held luggage- BEST YET!

Excellent service and great location if you want to go to Arashiyama. Room is also spacious. Breakfast is typical Japanese foods. Overall, we have a wonderful stay

Spacious room which is hard to find in Japan. Staff were very patient and kind. Amenities were great and the views are amazing!! Highly recommend when visiting Kyoto.
