The hotel is very classy but not exactly modern, as you would expect from any Westin property. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were very helpful.

Hotel was nice but outdated. Amenities were not in room you had to call to get things. No laundry on site, but there is a laundromat nearby. They have a shuttle to Osaka station that run twice every hour. It start at 10 and last one is at 6:40 pm. If you want to go earlier or have late dinner, you have to walk 15-20 minutes or take uber that gets kind of expensive. We had issues with our luggage delivery service and had to call to make arrangements. Due to language barrier, the call took about an hr and a half. To our surprise at check out we were charged $80 dollars for that call alone. We did get help getting a van to take us to the bullet train station with all our luggage. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Rooms were lovely and staff friendly and helpful We were disappointed that we could not use the pool. Persons under 18 were not allowed and over 18 had to pay a cover charge for each use. This was not stated on the Expedia booking page. The reason why we booked the Westin was for the swimming pool. The gym also required an additional charge which seems ridiculous as the cost of the stay is high The breakfast was quite disappointing as it was as a rather small selection for a 5 star hotel and there was no variety, each day the same was on offer Location was good and close to Osaka station

Oltiin kumppanin kanssa

The Westin is a lovely hotel in a great location close to OsakaJR station for both metro and JR rail options. The Umeda area is lively with a wide array of eating options and wonderful shops. The hotel rooms were spacious and quiet. The breakfast had lots of high quality options. And, the staff, from reception, to hospitality, housekeeping and concierge were wonderful. Overall an excellent hotel.
