This was a great place to stay and not too difficult to walk to Paddington Station. Spend some time at Hyde Park, since it is a lovely, nearby public park. Walking here felt safe and we easily took the bus home from the Victoria Station area, where we had attended the theater.

The Blakemore - Excellent location for Paddington station & Hyde Park. We stayed for only the 1 night but would like to have spent longer at this fantastic hotel. Hotel itself - wonderful, staff at reception are very helpful too. Our room was on the lower ground floor and really spacious and well decorated. Breakfast is on the side of the ground floor with a great choice available. All in, a highly recommended hotel!

I stayed here for four nights. The location is excellent, close to Hyde Park and the Queensway Underground station, making it easy to get around London. Unfortunately, my experience was let down by an issue with the room. On my first night, the air conditioning wasn’t working during the middle of a heat wave. I was told there were no other rooms available until the following day and was offered a complimentary buffet breakfast as compensation. Personally, I didn’t feel that adequately made up for the situation. I had booked and paid for a room with air conditioning, but instead spent my first night in an uncomfortably hot room and only managed a few hours of restless sleep. What disappointed me most was later learning that the hotel already knew the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working before assigning it to me, and this wasn’t disclosed at check-in. I also found out that other guests had been affected by the same issue. Had they been upfront about it, I would have appreciated the honesty and been able to make an informed decision.

Location is great if you love Hyde Park. Close to tubes and rail stations. Our go to hotel while in London.

A very good hotel experience. Nice room, clean, fridge in room which is very useful, and bottled water replenished daily. Very friendly, helpful, staff. Great location. Nice restaurant. We will definitely return

Breakfast was a little bedlam as there wasn’t sufficient space for comfort at busy times. Also buffet offered only scrambled or fried eggs on alternate days.
