Like others have said be prepared for stairs, stairs, and more stairs! Definitely not a place for disabled, elderly or otherwise anyone with difficulty climbing. The room was clean and simple however we were two friends sharing a room with two beds, too small and would not recommend except for intimate couples. TV only picked up a couple local stations which came in poorly. The pool is nice but not heated so I took a cold swim in morning. There is a restaurant on site which is good otherwise it’s a tricycle ride into town or a 20 minute walk. Nothing wrong with the hotel just a little too far and the stairs are a killer.

The room has very good view and nice. The staffs are nice and friendly. The only problem is that to get to the room you will have to walk up the stairs with lots of steps thus very tiresome for aged people. Checked in time is very strict i.e. cannot be before 2:00 pm thus make sure to organize your time to arrive to the hotel appropriately. Other than that it's a good hotel to stay in Coron

Great sized rooms with a brilliant bathroom. There are a lot of stairs so it may not be suitable for all. The breakfast could have been better but was definitely saved by the egg station!

Beautiful place. Staff were so friendly. Restaurant was really good and prices were reasonable. Portable wifi was available which was wonderful.

服務人員態度值得嘉獎，雖然建築在山坡上，卻沒什麼景觀，腳力不佳或年紀大的人，須慎重考慮，尤其是高樓層的房間，沐浴的水量更是不足，餐飲的質與量，還須加強，被套看似整潔，但是身上還是多了許多蟲叮咬的痕跡，WIFI 頻寬太糟，幾乎無用武之地。

The best thing about Vela Terraces is the service. The staff are very friendly and do a great job. Some minor issues - room not cleaned one day and lukewarm water in the shower at some times but mostly very good

The location is good, close to the town proper but away from the noise and traffic confusion, 3 to 5 minutes by tricycle and only 40 pesos travel. The communication between the hotel staff needs to improve. Many steps to climb daily which is good for one's health condition. Food in the restaurant is just acceptable and the staff need some training. There was always a kind of a bad smell from the bathroom's floor drain. I think it is a bit over priced for the service and quality provided but it could have been just timing to stay there. Just by the Mount Tapyas and with great views.

very good hotel and friendly staffs. Walking distance to town, if not you can take tricycle to town and cost 50peso. if you need a quiet place out from the town, this the hotel I would like to recommend.

코론 시내에는 트라이클 인당 15페소, 걸어서도 갈 수 있는 거리이긴 했음. 주변은 아주 조용하고 한적했음 허나 엘리베이터 없고, 프론트 데스크와 연결되는 전화없고, 객실에서는 와이파이 안되고... 가장 높은 층 묵었는데 뭐하나 요청하려고 내려갔다 올라오면 다리가 후들거려서 나중엔 창가에 죽치고 있따가 직원이 눈에 보이면 불러서 요청. 허나 로비나 식당이랑 가까운 층에 머물면 불편하지 않을 수도. 욕실 뜨거운 물 조절 잘 안됨, 아침저녁엔 온수만 죽어라 졸졸, 밤 11시 넘어서는 냉수만 졸졸... 높아서 긍가 수압도 낮고 물도 별로. 추가 타올 요청 시 돈 받음. 조식은 깔끔하긴 하나 너무 간소함. 시리얼, 토스트 두종류의 과일, 우유, 주스, 라이스, 생선튀김, 햄, 야채볶음, 계란이 매일 같이 반복

Vela Terraces is a well appointed contemporary hotel with a touch of Filipino charm. Rooms are spacious with either a view of the mountains - Mt. Tapyas, which is one of Coron's sites - or the ocean. As the name connotes, it is like the Rice Terraces - it has different levels. So, it's not for the young-once. The hotel has a lot of stairs. There are 4 structures going up the hill. From the road, just walk up a few steps to the simple but charming reception area where you will get a welcome drink upon arrival from the airport. A few more steps above the reception is the Manggis restaurant that serves Filipino and International dishes. Their Ala Cart fare is delicious! Next to the restaurant is the first Tower of rooms. Tower one has 2 rooms just across the restaurant, and one room each on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Behind Tower One a few steps up from the restaurant is Tower Two, which has 2 floors. Further up the hill from Tower Two is Tower Three, which also has 2 floors. By this time, you are on the middle portion of the hill with a view of Mt. Tapyas' Cross. The view of the lighted cross at night is wonderful. We were originally assigned to the top most floor / Tower 3. We made the walk to the top when we arrived. Fortunately, they moved us to Tower One - what a relief. As in most (not sure if all) hotels in Coron, there are really no elevators. Rooms can actually fit 4 and are very clean. Staff are excellent and friendly. Hotel is very near town.
