Chris was our guide for the day! His driving and guidance were excellent, and he took many photos for us. The order and locations of the spots were a little different from what we booked, but we were very satisfied with the experience! He even treated us to our favorite Leonard's donuts! It would have been tiring to navigate everything ourselves, but he took us everywhere, making it very easy and enjoyable!

The Guide John W. (David) was FANTASTIC! We learnt a lot from him, as he told us a lot about Hawaii during the tour. The tour finished early at 3.30pm, so clearly it was possible to add quick 5-minute photo stops for some of the places we only drove past. It is sad that there are too many drive past sights

The doors-off helicopter tour is quite unique, but unfortunately, the clouds were thick and it was rainy over the mountains that day, so we couldn't fly there. The intercom button on my seat had an issue, so I couldn't communicate in time during the flight. It's a bit of a shame I didn't get to see Pearl Harbor from the air.

This was my first time on a helicopter, and it was such an exciting and enjoyable experience. Before boarding, they showed a safety video; I watched it in English, but it seems you can request Japanese subtitles. All the staff were very kind, and the pilot was a handsome older gentleman. The view of Hawaii from the helicopter was incredibly powerful and breathtaking. Although it was a bit pricey, I believe it was a truly worthwhile experience.

Thanks Gavin. It was my best flight ever. This helicopter experience will usefull for beginner of hawaii and who wants more about Ohau island. This flight was about Great nature and Great human history. At last please understand my English. It is not my mother tongue.

Aluksi bussi saapui tapaamispaikalle 15 minuuttia myöhässä. Epävarmuus koski kuitenkin vain sitä alkua. Ilmainen malasada, upea luonto ja maisemat, Dole-ananasplantaasi, kilpikonnien näkeminen snorklatessa, herkullinen valkosipulikatkarapu, Jurassic Parkin kuvauspaikat – kaikkea oli tarjolla runsaasti, ja 10 tuntia kului siivillä. Matkanjohtaja Dirk oli nähtävästi toiminut englannin opettajana Tokiossa, ja hän puhuu sujuvaa japania. Koska muut matkustajat olivat ulkomaalaisia, opastus tapahtui kokonaan englanniksi, mutta puhuessaan kanssamme hän käytti sujuvaa japania. Hänen kielitaitonsa on sillä tasolla, että hän osaa vitsaillakin. Tämä oli ensimmäinen matkani Havaijille, mutta aion mennä sinne pian uudelleen.

We chose the highest altitude, but if you have children, I think it would be better to go with a lower one. We were told that if it got too high and scary in the middle, we could make an 'X' sign and they would adjust it, but in reality, once you're already up there, it was difficult to communicate with the captain. Riding the boat to the parasailing location was also a lot of fun! Overall, everyone was very kind, though there was one person who seemed a bit frustrated because of the language barrier.
