Great day tour at the Reef, we got to stop at 2 diving spots and my package also includes 1 helicopter flight. The operator also has a photographer, who helped you took underwater photos which you can purchased later (though it is quite pricey at $20/pic). Lunch is basic (steak, prawns, grilled fish, salad & pasta) but delicious, and the prawns were very fresh. What I wish could have been better is the helicopter flight announcement - it would have been better if they announced my turn roughly 10-15 mins before the flight took off, so I'd have enough time to change to normal clothes (I was snorkelling right before that). Also I believe if passengers are given at least 30 mins before departure to take motion sickness pills, it will work better. Some passengers on my trip took the pill but still got sick, maybe bcoz the pill did not have enough time to take effect (you gotta take it after breakfast, at least 30 mins before departure).

Since I was a bit nervous about swimming, I opted for the glass-bottom boat and snorkeling package! The glass-bottom boat was amazing; just looking down, I could see beautiful fish and sea turtles, which was truly breathtaking. For snorkeling, I paid an additional AUD 12 to rent a life vest! Just a short distance away, there were schools of colorful fish, and swimming among them myself was a completely different experience. (The fish themselves were actually clearer to see from the glass-bottom boat!) Coin lockers, the souvenir shop, and restaurants all accepted credit card payments!

I was worried about check-in and other procedures since I don't speak English, but I'm so grateful that there were many Japanese staff members who provided support. We were also blessed with good weather, and it truly became an unforgettable memory!

Erinomainen kokemus! Iso valliriutta on ehdottomasti käymisen arvoinen! Sunlovers-vene oli todella mukava verrattuna muihin veneisiin. SeaWalker- ja Scuba Diving -oppaat olivat erinomaisia. Meillä oli myös paras snorklauskokemus!

Great day tour to the Daintree, but I do feel like the itinerary is a bit rush. We got too little time stopping at the Mossman River Creek & Cape Tribulation (I really wished we had more time in those places). On the other hand, I really love the welcome to country ceremony & introduction to local indigenous culture - really eye opening experience. The river cruise and walk thru the rainforest also came with clear introduction & excellent guide.

Tällä kertaa meidät vietiin Milln reefille ja Flynn reefille, jotka ovat kaksi ulompaa valliriuttaa. Näimme myös valaita ja delfiinejä. Ulommat valliriutat ovat paljon kauniimpia kuin sisemmät, mutta ensin on kestettävä kahden tunnin matka kovassa tuulessa ja aallokossa. Se on kuitenkin erittäin sen arvoista, ja suosittelemme ottamaan matkapahoinvointilääkettä etukäteen, jotta matka ei mene pilalle.

Kiertueemme viivästyi tunnin huonon sään vuoksi (melko epätavallista, koska talven pitäisi olla "kuiva kausi"), mutta rehellisesti sanottuna he tekivät oikean päätöksen! Meillä oli lyhyt hetki hyvää säätä ja näkyvyyttä riuttojen yli. Lentäjä Jesse oli erittäin mukava ja iloinen; hän pyysi minua istumaan viereensä, koska matkustin yksin, ja rehellisesti sanottuna se teki kokemuksesta paljon paremman! Lisäksi se oli yksi tasaisimmista laskeutumisista, mitä olen koskaan kokenut lentokoneella; en edes huomannut, että olimme jo pyörillä kiitotiellä. Suosittelen tätä retkeä lämpimästi! Mutta varaa joustavuutta aikatauluusi, sillä tämä on erittäin säästä riippuvainen aktiviteetti: seuraa sääennustetta 2-3 päivää ennen päivämäärän lukitsemista.

Palvelu oli nopeaa ja kätevää. Juna pysähtyi Barron Fallsin asemalla, jotta pääsimme katsomaan paikkoja. Muistathan, että sää voi olla ajoittain tuulinen (erityisesti ylämäkeen noustessa), joten pidä mukanasi kevyt takki ja hattu. Kurandaan saavuttuasi sinulla on noin 3-4 tuntia aikaa tutustua ympäristöön.
