Maya Bay -kierrokset

9. maaliskuuta 2026: Tämä oli upea retki. Valitsimme kolmen tunnin retken, joka alkoi klo 6 aamulla. Ensimmäinen pysähdys oli Maya Bay, ja olimme ensimmäisten joukossa saarella, joten oli helppo ottaa kuvia ilman ihmisiä taustalla. Toinen pysähdys oli Pi Leh Bay, mutta emme päässeet sen läpi, koska oli vielä laskuvesi. Oppaamme sanoi, että voisimme odottaa klo 8.30/8.40 asti päästäksemme läpi, mutta päätimme olla odottamatta, koska emme halunneet odottaa tuntia. Rehellisesti sanottuna emme viettäneet liikaa aikaa Maya Bayssa, minkä vuoksi olimme aikaisin Pi Leh Bayssa. Otimmepa silti hienoja kuvia ulkopuolelta. Kolmas pysähdys oli Viking Cave, ja ohitimme siellä yhden toisen veneen. Neljäs pysähdys oli Monkey Bay. Oppaamme sanoi, että olimme onnekkaita nähdessämme niin paljon apinoita noin klo 8–8.30, koska ne eivät yleensä tule ulos näin aikaisin. Olimme ainoat siellä, ja opas antoi meidän syöttää niille ananaksia. Kaiken kaikkiaan suosittelen tätä retkeä lämpimästi! :)

Teimme viime hetken varauksen Phuketin: Phi Phi, Maya Bay ja Khai Island Speedboat Tourille Klookin kautta, koska matkamme oli spontaani ja lentomme kotiin lähestyi nopeasti. Meidät määrättiin siniseen ryhmään, jota hoiti Team Best. En yleensä jätä arvosteluja, mutta Team Best todella ansaitsee sellaisen. En valitettavasti muista matkanjohtajamme nimeä, mutta hän oli mahtava. Hän antoi selkeät ohjeet, hänellä oli loistava huumorintaju ja hän varmisti, että kaikki tunsivat olonsa turvalliseksi, mukavaksi ja hyvin hoidetuksi koko matkan ajan. Erityiskiitokset myös yhdelle Team Bestin naispuolisista työntekijöistä. Hän oli uskomattoman ystävällinen, iloinen ja ennakoiva auttaessaan meitä ottamaan upeita kuvia. Lounas oli herkullinen, ja koko miehistö oli ystävällinen ja avulias. Kiitos, Team Best, että teitte tästä yhden Phuketin-matkamme kohokohdista. Erittäin suositeltavaa! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💙🙏🏻💯

The tour was absolutely amazing! We opted for a private car to pick us up so it made it so easy to get to and from the pier. The tour guides were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the different islands. We got lucky with weather so no rain but sunshine all day. Big shout out to Brian who took some great underwater videos for us when we stopped for snorkeling! Overall the day was wonderful from start to end!

This was a great day. Local doughnut and coffee provided on the pier before boarding the speedboat- the arrival process was well managed. Being from north Qld- the fish life was beautiful. We went to 3 snorkelling locations on the full day. Maya bay is stunning and I love that it is now protected. We need to respect this special place. The monkeys are cheeky. We also loved the bamboo island swimming - the waterfront here was stunning with crystal clear waters. Fresh pineapple was lovely. Lunch was basic rice and chicken. Our tour guide was sensational. She had a great sense of humour and clear information was provided as the day progressed. pack some cash for snack bar at bamboo for a treat. We enjoyed a banana smoothie.

I was excited to be upgraded to the Catamaran experience with sunset in Poda beach. However, the catamaran had some issues and we almost ended up cancelling the day. Thankfully, our master tour guide, Chim, was kind to contact and arrange for the tour to continue using a speedboat instead. It was an amazing experience! We were able to go to all the sights. Personally, Maya Bay was the highlight. This was a truly memorable birthday celebration for me. Thank you to the crew. 10 stars to all of you ❤️

An amazing experience with the most beautiful beaches imaginable, the crew is very kind an funny, Tommy, your the man! the trip has manny points, carribean blue and crystal clesr waters, snorkling, local boat rides, and a delicious lunch. its a must have! i highly recommend it!

IMO, Maya bay deserves to be a separate itinerary altogether. The island is too pristine and beautiful to be overwhelmed by large crowds of tourists. Honestly, I wouldn't mind and additional conservation fee on top of the 400 baht national park charge if it helps preserve the area. The halal buffet was surprisingly good and one practical tip: cash is king. it makes bargaining easier and helps u avoid card transaction fees. A special mention to our guide Phayu and the speedboat crew; they were excellent throughout the trip. Friendly and professional. Phi Phi and Maya are stunning but preserving them should be just as important as promoting them.
