Tekemistä paikassa Opera House

Ihana päiväretki. Pitkä päivä matka-ajan vuoksi sinne ja takaisin, mutta oli sen arvoista. Mukava opas, kuljetus hienosti järjestetty ja mukava. Vene oli huippu lounaineen, melontoineen, uinteineen ja upeine maisemineen. Myös golfautolla saaren läpi luolalle ja museoon ajaminen oli erittäin mukavaa. Oli miellyttävää, että retki oli pienimuotoinen eikä mikään megaturistinen.

Lämmin ja rikas kokemus tällä kävelykierroksella Minan kanssa. Hän on ystävällinen ja lämmin, ja hänen tietämyksensä Hanoista on erittäin mielenkiintoista. Ryhmämme on pieni, vain 5 henkilöä, mikä tekee yhteydenpidosta ja yhdessä kävelystä kierroskohteessa helppoa. Jos haluat viedä kotiin pelkkien valokuvien sijaan todellisia tarinoita Hanoista… tämä kierros on ehdoton. Todella :)

Since my hotel didn't offer pickup, I decided to go to the Hanoi Opera House. It wasn't far from the hotel, so that was fine. The pickup vehicle arrived about 10 minutes later than the scheduled time. The bus wasn't a luxury one, but it was acceptable. Before reaching Ha Long Bay, we first stopped at a shop selling goods. There was no pressure to buy anything. I just bought a drink. The boat we boarded wasn't large, but it was quite impressive. The boat departed around 10:30 AM. A buffet lunch was served on board starting at 11:00 AM. The meal wasn't bad. Ha Long Bay is a beautiful marine park, and you can enjoy the stunning scenery from the boat. Many tour boats dotted the sea, which was also a spectacular sight. There's a basic option to visit a short sea cave by rowing boat, and also time to enjoy kayaking. Taking a speedboat is an optional extra for an additional fee. On the way back, there was a cooking class on board, but only locals participated. Overall, if you're not focused on enjoying the scenery, it could be a bit boring. However, it was a wonderful opportunity to fully appreciate the beautiful scenery of Ha Long Bay. The sea was calm, so there was no seasickness. On the bus ride back to Hanoi, we stopped at another shop selling goods. Again, there was no pressure to buy. The shops were selling items that could also be bought in Hanoi, but at higher prices. These shops need to change. They should offer products that can entice tourists to open their wallets, at prices that are appropriate. That way, sales would likely increase. I bought another drink this time too. Our guide never pressured us. The guide was friendly and dedicated to their job. The price of a Ha Long Bay tour seems to vary depending on the luxury level of the transportation and the boat. The tour I experienced today felt like a mid-range option. However, I was satisfied with the tour because of the guide's kindness. I'd like to thank Allen, our guide, who was with us all day!^^

We had a great time on a tour with Annie and Vy! The bike ride was exciting and enjoyed the entire trip throughout the city and the history of Saigon. Thank you both for being the excellent guides. We highly recommend the tour if you want to soak yourself into the hidden gems of the street life here.

Tämä retki oli aivan fantastinen. Minut tutustutettiin paikallisiin ruokapaikkoihin ja ruokaerikoisuuksiin. Oppaani Jinny oli suloisin ja huomaavaisin opas. Hän selitti kaiken syömämme ruoan, miten sitä syödään, milloin sitä syödään ja monia siihen liittyviä tapoja. Tämä on ensimmäinen kertani Vietnamissa, ja tämä altistuminen paikalliselle ruoalle on tehnyt minusta paljon varmemman sen suhteen, mitä syödä. En ole myöskään koskaan ollut skootterin kyydissä, ja tämä oli ehdottomasti yksi hienoimmista tavoista nähdä kaupunkia. Wow, what a fantastic experience, to sit on the back of a scooter and be part of the traffic, and not just watch it from the sidewalk. It felt very safe to ride with Tera and her friend. It was also a great pleasure to hear them, as locals, explain more about the sights we passed on the trip. Tera's story about Thich Quang Duc in particular touched me a lot. Thank you so much for teaching us a little about Ho Chi Minh Tera 🙏🇻🇳

Upea kokemus! Oppaat olivat ystävällisiä ja kertoivat matkan varrella paljon eri arkkitehtuurista ja niiden historiasta. Ryhmäni nautti myös ”syrjässä kulkevan” kokemuksesta pelloille. Menimme heinäkuussa ja aloitimme kierroksemme klo 13.00. Sää alkoi kevyellä tihkusateella, sitten lämpimällä auringonpaisteella, ja lopetimme kierroksen kaatosateessa. Oppaat olivat hyvin varustautuneet sadetakeilla ja vedellä, ja olimme hyvissä käsissä. En jaa paljon kuvia, sillä kierros on jotain, mikä pitää kokea itse. Nauttikaa!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable day with Daisy and her driver yesterday. We went to a lacquered art workshop, Cu Chi Tunnels, lunch at a beautiful restaurant, War Remnant Museum, and Independence Palace. Daisy was the perfect balance of knowledgeable while also allowing us to explore on our own. When we went to the tunnels and my youngest was too frightened to go crawl through them, Daisy kept her entertained while the rest of our family went through the 20m tunnels - HIGHLY recommend by the way! The SUV was extremely comfortable, with head rests, cup holders, chargers, snacks and candy. The driver even added fresh pandan leaves so the car smelled amazing. It was a blistering hot day and being able to return to this car was heavenly. We felt very well taken care of and had the best day. Highly recommend Daisy and this custom tour for a fun and educational day.

My boyfriend and I signed up for this walking tour to explore more of Ho Chi Minh City, and Lucky gave us an amazing tour. We were the only ones at this time, so we got a surprise private tour. We learned so much from Lucky and loved her energy. Thank you!
