Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum -kierrokset

This is the second time I've booked this tour which says a lot. The first time was for a solo trip, and this second time was bringing around family. The Tour guide Jay was amazing as he shared a lot of history about the islands and the statue and was very fun and enthusiastic as well.

Our JAL flight arriving in New York from Haneda was delayed by about 3 hours, so we had to cancel our originally planned Top of the Rock tour. We booked this tour very last minute instead. It was our first time in New York, but we were able to get a great overview of the city's scenery. We were able to make great use of the 30,000 yen in points we got at Klook's Harajuku event this time. Thank you so much, Chieru-san and Ryukru-san.

The Circle Line Harbor Lights Cruise is widely regarded as one of the best sightseeing experiences in New York City because of its impeccable timing: departing at dusk, it lets you watch the Manhattan skyline transform from a warm golden hour into a sparkling sea of illuminated skyscrapers. Over two relaxed hours, the boat glides down the Hudson, passes within close range of an illuminated Statue of Liberty for prime photo stops, and cruises under the lit-up Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges, all accompanied by engaging, knowledgeable live commentary from local guides. While popular sailings can feel crowded—making it smart to arrive 45 minutes early to grab an outdoor seat on the starboard (right) side—the stunning panoramic views and climate-controlled lower decks make it well worth the ticket for both first-timers and return visitors.

This tour ended up being just for me, as no one else showed up. I was very lucky! The guide was extremely familiar with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which made navigating it very comfortable. Their explanations were thorough, and I'm truly glad I took this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We didn't go into Appollo due to renovations. We ended in Dumbo. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Great tour.

It was great to hear about New York's attractions and various stories from a guide who is a New York native. However, some of the stories focused a bit too much on American culture, which made them a little hard for a foreigner to follow. Still, I'd like to express my gratitude to our guide, Gary, who passionately introduced New York to us and even treated us to some fun impersonations!
