Mahkota Parade -kierrokset

Malaga on erittäin kaunis kaupunki, jossa on runsaasti historiallisia kohteita. Oppaamme, rouva Nadia Yeow, antoi yksityiskohtaisia ohjeita ja neuvoja kierroksesta, siitä mitä on odotettavissa ja kuinka päivään tulisi valmistutua. Hän oli uskomattoman asiantunteva ja ystävällinen. Meille esiteltiin historiallisia kohteita lyhyesti selitettyjen taustojen kera, ja saimme aikaa valokuvien ottamiseen. Nadia auttoi meitä itse ottamaan yhteiskuvia eri kohteissa. Välillä pidettiin juomataukoja helteessä viilentymistä varten, ja meille näytettiin kauppoja ja myyjiä, jos halusimme ostaa matkamuistoja, syödä paikallista ruokaa tai muuta vastaavaa. Kaiken kaikkiaan retki on jokaisen pennin arvoinen (jos pystyy kävelemään polttavassa helteessä) ja on kiinnostunut historiallisista taustoista. Kiitos myös rouva Nadialle siitä, että hän teki tästä kävelykierroksesta vieläkin paremman.

What a great day we had! Sathia was the perfect guide and made the whole trip lots of fun. She is very knowledgeable and made sure that we got to see and experience everything that we wanted.. We would definitely do this again - thank you for a 5 star day, Sathia!

The historical tour led by Mr Oliver was interesting and beneficial. He took his time to share with us the history behind every place, buildings, landscape and even the trees. We really understand the history in depth. We also enjoy the walk from the Dutch Sq Area to the Harmony St across the Melaka River. Mr Oliver is really passionate about sharing the history of melaka. We really recommend anyone coming down to Melaka to spend some time with this tour. Just a note, this tour involves lots of walking and going upstairs and down, so make sure you put on proper shoes and attire 😉

We were assigned a guide who was cheerful, funny, polite, and intelligent. Even though it was a private tour for just the two of us Japanese who hardly speak any English, the guide put in 100% effort, carefully explaining historical details and showing great consideration by speaking slowly and clearly in English, or using a translation app to help us. It was truly touching and memorable. When you get a great guide like this, a tour becomes a wonderful travel memory. Thank you very much.

Jonker Street was super lively and the food was shiok. Our guide was patient with my parents and let us take as many photos as we liked. Very smooth private tour, good value.
