The onboard staff were very enthusiastic and provided detailed introductions. After boarding, we left our ID at the counter to borrow prescription diving masks. At the second dive site, we decided on the spot to pay the 20 AUD for the glass-bottom boat ride, where we saw many fish and corals. The meals on board were simple and average, so those who care about food can bring their own snacks. Also, it is recommended to take motion sickness medicine to avoid ruining a wonderful trip.

Upea kokemus! Kaikki oli hyvin järjestetty yli sadalle matkustajalle turvallisuudesta, istumapaikoista, varusteista lounaaseen ja iltapäiväteehen asti. Erinomainen ensikertalaisille snorklaajille, ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Valitettavasti helikopterilento peruttiin sään vuoksi, mutta kaikki muu oli hyvää. Vaikka tulimme todella merisairaiksi (vaikka otimme tabletteja), se oli täysin sen arvoista!

Great day tour at the Reef, we got to stop at 2 diving spots and my package also includes 1 helicopter flight. The operator also has a photographer, who helped you took underwater photos which you can purchased later (though it is quite pricey at $20/pic). Lunch is basic (steak, prawns, grilled fish, salad & pasta) but delicious, and the prawns were very fresh. What I wish could have been better is the helicopter flight announcement - it would have been better if they announced my turn roughly 10-15 mins before the flight took off, so I'd have enough time to change to normal clothes (I was snorkelling right before that). Also I believe if passengers are given at least 30 mins before departure to take motion sickness pills, it will work better. Some passengers on my trip took the pill but still got sick, maybe bcoz the pill did not have enough time to take effect (you gotta take it after breakfast, at least 30 mins before departure).

Erinomainen kokemus! Iso valliriutta on ehdottomasti käymisen arvoinen! Sunlovers-vene oli todella mukava verrattuna muihin veneisiin. SeaWalker- ja Scuba Diving -oppaat olivat erinomaisia. Meillä oli myös paras snorklauskokemus!

Nice island getaway with a relaxing vibe We joined a day trip to Fitzroy Island and overall had a nice experience. The boat ride from the marina took about 45 minutes, which was quite manageable. The weather in the days before our trip had been rainy, so the guide let us know in advance that the water might not be very clear. Even so, it was still enjoyable to spend time on the island and go into the water. The beach we were at had corals instead of soft sand, so it was a bit harder and more slippery to walk on, something visitors may want to be prepared for. We still managed to see a few fishes and corals while snorkelling. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant day trip, especially if you want to enjoy island scenery and spend some time by the water. I’d recommend bringing suitable footwear for the coral beach and managing expectations depending on recent weather conditions.

We participated in an afternoon departure on a pleasantly cool spring day. On the way there, we encountered whales! An announcement was made, and we stopped for a while to watch them. At Green Island, snorkeling was canceled that day due to a crocodile sighting, so we went on a glass-bottom boat tour instead. We could have still gone into the ocean, but we decided to enjoy the island's walking trails, which led to several small beaches. Before heading back, we dipped our feet in the water.

Although it was a half-day tour, lunch was included, and we were able to fully enjoy the Great Barrier Reef—we were extremely satisfied! We received an email a couple of days beforehand asking us to call to choose between snorkeling or the glass-bottom boat, but they were able to assist us via email instead. I had heard that the boat causes motion sickness, but I didn't get that sick at all. Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying tour.

This was my first time snorkelling and the staff made be feel at ease by reassuring me and constantly checking up on me while not giving me any pressure. I had a great time in the water! I also loved how much there was to do on this Pontoin, even if you did not go snorkelling! 5 hours truly flies by. Part of the reason I chose Reef Magic was because I heard they conducted reef conservation work and I was happy to actually see the Marine Biologists dive for broken coral for reef recovery. WARNING: bring seasickness medicine even if you don't normally get sea sick. The ride to the Outer Reef was rough. The lunch buffet looked delicious but I was too nauseous to fully enjoy it.

Fantastic trip out to the reef, staff were very helpful, everything supplied. The reef was amazing, saw so much. We were very lucky to have a beautiful, calm day. Great experience.
