A few days later, we met tour guide Xiao Yu again. She was just as meticulous in her explanations and took great care of everyone. Although Ise isn't particularly popular with foreigners right now, if you like Japanese shrines and are interested in Japanese religious customs, the Ise Grand Shrine tour would be an excellent choice. We were also very lucky this time to witness the Meoto Iwa rope-changing ceremony, which only happens three times a year. It was a very cool experience.

The itinerary for the Nagoya Full-Day Ise Grand Shrine & Toba Aquarium Tour with Meoto Iwa was well-organized and enjoyable. Unfortunately, it rained quite heavily during our trip, so we decided to head back earlier than scheduled. I originally planned to visit the Pearl Museum, but due to the unpredictable weather, I chose the aquarium instead. Despite the change in plans, I had a great time watching the playful sea creatures and marine shows at the aquarium. Overall, it was still a memorable experience, and I would recommend this tour, especially for those who enjoy nature, culture, and marine life.

The tour is well organized. Daisy Wu was very welcoming and helpful. She explained everything well and gave great photo shoot tips! Would highly recommend!

Small group tour, flexible arrangement. Driver contact one day in advance to confirm pick up time and location! They were even nice enough to pick us up from hotel which was 10 mins walk away from gathering point.

After seeing this new itinerary on the platform, I immediately gathered my friends and we set off! Our tour guide, Xiao Xie, provided thoughtful and meticulous service. When a sudden downpour caught us off guard at noon, we immediately received a message from Xiao Xie saying he was getting umbrellas from the car for us! He was truly considerate. He also looked after us carefully throughout the trip. Highly recommended!

Santos made our tour an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared fascinating insights about the area, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included throughout the day.
His enthusiasm and attention to detail really stood out. The tour was well-organised, relaxed, and full of memorable moments, thanks in large part to Santos’s warm personality and expertise. He went above and beyond to make the experience special.
And to top it off. He got every group a gift of matcha cookies that he didn’t have to do! such an amazing gesture.

The location is very convenient whether you're traveling by JR or driving. The hotel annex has a parking lot downstairs with plenty of spaces. You can get a discounted parking rate when you check out at the front desk with your parking ticket, and it's not expensive at all for 24 hours. Plus, the hotel is right near Ise Grand Shrine's Geku (Outer Shrine), so you can visit there before picking up your car to go to the Naiku (Inner Shrine). The main hotel building has a hot spring bath that's quite comfortable even with many people, and the hotel provides bath salts and lotions for guests to take, with many varieties available. The rooms in the annex are much newer, clearly recently renovated, and very spacious and clean. The staff are also very friendly.

This is a great location to stay if you want to visit Meoto Iwa at Futami Okitama Shrine while touring Ise Jingu. There is a very large parking lot at the entrance, which is very convenient for travelers driving by car. However, the bath is not a typical large public bath; instead, it features seven small private family hot spring rooms, with two designated as separate men's and women's baths. It is considered rather small for a bathhouse, so if you want to enjoy a comfortable soak, be sure to arrive early and reserve a private hot spring room.
