I joined this bike tour during a free day in Shanghai, and it exceeded all my expectations. We explored the French Concession, beautiful parks, and local spots I would never have found on my own. A highlight was unexpectedly coming across an outdoor pop-up exhibition by Maison Margiela—we just happened to pass by, which made the experience feel even more special and spontaneous. Riding through the city gave me a unique perspective, and everything felt thoughtfully planned. It was absolutely worth it, and I highly recommend this tour. Ending the tour with a jasmine-infused coffee and a croissant was unforgettable—such a perfect final touch. Special thanks to Victor, my amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience even better.

It was a wonderful experience to ride around and get to know Shanghai. It was a perfect weather too. We recommend this bike tour for everyone.

Our guide Ellen is so helpful and kind. and the tour took us many different place around Shanghai. It’s really good idea to start the journey in Shanghai if you are first time. after tour, we can make our other plans following where we visited during the tour. Also, the bicycles are good and comfortable. I would like to try next time for the other time tour. Thank you for taking us! even it rained a bit but it was good to cool down.

Ellen the guide was fantastic. I would highly recommend this tour even if for a day. it really is for all skill levels! Shanghai is flat so really it's just a leisurely bike ride around this amazing city! Also I was a bit afraid cause of the cars and motorbikes but I was very surprised with their driving etiquete. at no point did a car or motorbike get too close to me! all in all was just amazing would definitely recomend it!

Today we had the pleasure to have a guided cycle tour with Ellen of China Cycle Tours. A great experience of a very well English speaking guide who guided us through the beautiful centuries of Shanghai. In May our daughter was in Shanghai with her school and had the same pleasure to have a cycle tour guided by Ellen. So if you travel with a small (family) or larger group Ellen is there to give you the best guided experience on a bike.

Ellen was a fantastic guide, it was just me any my partner on the day of the tour and she took us round the French Quarter, Bund and more during our tour! The chaotic nature of Shanghai was tamed with Ellen leading us across the city. We stopped at several points to walk around areas fo the city, getting to know more about the area, history, and more. In her local neighborhood Ellen was well know, and was greeted by many locals positivly. A great start to the tour!

A fantastic way to see Shanghai, my guide Alyssa was amazing, she was so nice and so knowledgeable. An easy ride so was very pleasant, didn’t feel strenuous.
