A must book! Tour guide Kevin was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. Great quality for price. Definitely recommend. it was only 3 people on tour so it was more personal. Kevin took really good pictures and took us through each step of how everything was done. We got to do hands on experience and got to get products and able to customize hat. I did the 1/2 tour and it was worth it. Book and request Kevin as your guide.

August 2026 What a wonderful experience!!! Had Nadia Trang as our guide and she was phenomenal! A literal Google page for Vietnam. She’s so knowledgeable and has great interpersonal skills. Made she everyone is included, and having fun. We went to the incense village, saw the process of making it, then went hating making. Nadia was spewing facts like they run through her blood. She’s funny and very respectful of the people whose houses/ factories we visited. I loved that. I really loved having her as a guide. She also acted as my personal photographer and knew all the right angles. Our driver was also great and ensured we had a smooth ride. Thank you to them both. My only regret is that I didn’t have my family to share this experience with. This tour was really great.

We had a wonderful half-day trip to the Incense Village! It was amazing to see not only the iconic sea of vibrant red incense, but also to learn the entire incense-making process, from bamboo sticks to the finished product. It's also a fantastic place for photography! 📸 We also visited a traditional Vietnamese hat-making workshop, where we learned how the hats are handmade and even had the chance to decorate our own conical hats. Such a fun and unique experience! A special shout-out to our guide, Louisa! She was soooo kind, friendly, and passionate. She wasn't just our tour guide—she was also our teacher, bodyguard, and professional photographer! 😂 She made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Osallistuimme puolen päivän retkelle. Se oli väsyttävää, mutta samalla hauskaa. Uusi kokemus oppia heidän kulttuuristaan ja uskomuksistaan. Oppaamme herra Kevin lähetti meille viestin päivää ennen retkeä muistuttaen noutoajasta ja -paikasta. Retki sujui mutkattomasti, ja pakettiauto oli erittäin mukava. Nukahdin joka kerta, kun pääsimme ajoneuvoon. Pyysimme, että meidät jätettäisiin ravintolaan hotellimme sijaan.

Olipa hauska päivä. Louisa oli upea opas. Hänen englannin kielen taitonsa oli erinomainen ja hän teki matkasta niin hauskan. Hän oli erittäin asiantunteva ja viihdytti meitä tarinoilla ja faktoilla. Hän otti myös parhaat valokuvat. Suosittelen tätä retkeä lämpimästi 😊

The experience was fantastic — we absolutely loved it. Besides visiting all the places, it was also very enriching to learn about the history and to be part of the creation process of both the hats and the incense, understanding how everything works. We even brought home two lovely souvenirs. On top of that, our guide, Kevin, was tireless and incredibly dedicated throughout the whole experience.

We had an absolutely amazing time on this tour! Visiting the Incense Village and learning about traditional hat-making was incredibly beautiful and culturally rich. ​A huge thank you to our guide, Kevin, who was fantastic! He was super knowledgeable and friendly, (and took some amazing photos for us!). I've attached some of my favorite pictures to show how beautiful it is. The transfer from our hotel was smooth (from the old quarter) and the way back too. Highly recommend this tour if you're in Hanoi.

Sabrina our tour guide was super pleasant and informative. I wish the incense factory photo stop would have been longer but other than that it was a good value for money. Make sure to pack up some snack as we took the morning tour then finished at past 1pm.

It was my 2nd time in Hanoi and I was looking for some new experiences as all the main tours were covered in my previous visit. This tour was a great option to spend half a day in country side. Tom, our guide was friendly and full of energy. He explained each part well and took photos for us. Incense village is a good photospot. You also get to see how the incense sticks are made by hand. The Hat village was also nice as you get to few steps yourself. The most fun was painting the hat. Our morning pickup was delayed, but Tom and the tour company apologised and treated us with some good coffee. We spend ample time at each location.
