It was our very first time trying on a kimono, and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The process of selecting the perfect kimono was enjoyable and thoughtfully guided, making it easy and fun even for beginners like us. What truly stood out was the attention to detail—not only in helping us choose the right patterns and colors, but also in the careful styling of our hair and the coordination of accessories to complete the look beautifully. Everything was handled with such care and professionalism, which made the experience feel both special and memorable. We felt completely taken care of throughout, and it really added to our appreciation of traditional Japanese culture. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in trying on a kimono for the first time or simply wants to enjoy a unique and elegant cultural activity ✨👏🏻

incredible experience! i booked 30 minutes before and when i arrived everyone was super nice. i choose the simple kimono and had a lot to choose from. two really kind ladies helped me dress it and did my hair, i could choose for free one of three styles, and then i was able to acessorize the hair with pearls and some other acessories. during the day i felt really comfortable with the kimono and when i went back to the rental everyone was once again amazing, i stayed with the hairstyle and they even offered me a really sweet gift afterwards. i really recommend it!!!

Well served by two Taiwanese girls who can speak fluent Mandarin, Japanese and English. As we are not familiar with kimono, they allow in-store upgrade of female kimono to Houmongi. The store prioritises hygiene and reminded us that once we changed into the kimono, we are not allowed to change to another kimono, which is a good idea to prevent getting a dirty kimono or the doubt of skin infection. They provided us with lockers to put in our own stuff, and gave us bags matching our outfit to carry important items along with us. There is no time limit to how soon we must return the kimono, provided we get back to the store before 5pm, as there will be extra charges from 5-6pm, and more so for next-day return as the store completely closes at 6pm. The outfit comes along with free socks. On top of that, they provided us with free heat packs. Upon returning of kimono, we even got surprise gifts from the store. Highly recommend this store for a wonderful kimono experience !

Such a fun experience! 🎎✨ Definitely worth it! The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It was such a hot day that I even learned the Japanese word “atsui” (暑い) because of them! 😂 They had such a great variety of yukatas and kimonos, and I was so satisfied with the one I chose. It matched my skin tone perfectly! 🤍 My hair was also styled so beautifully, and I loved how everything came together. 🌸✨ Such a lovely experience overall. Would definitely recommend!

6.17 9:30 으로 체험했습니다! 게이한 급행 타고 중간에 보통?으로 갈아타서 좀만 걸어가면 금방이에요!! 사실 이 가격에 정말...해줄까? 하는 마음이 있었는데 유카타를 이 가격에 진짜 했습니다... 제가 간 날은 특이하게 날씨가 덥지 않아서 돌아다니기 괜찮았습니다 먼저 가야 선점할 수 있는 옷이 많다고 해서 일빠로 갔었네요 3명이서 가서 유카타 먼저 고르고 오비 고른 다음 갈아입는 곳에서 속곳을 먼저 입혀주셨습니다 저는 겉에 걸치는 용 하나 입혀주고 헤어 먼저했어요! 나머지 친구들은 먼저 유카타 착용을 했습니당 짐도 맡길 수 있고 가방도 빌려주니 꼭 여기서 하시면 좋겠어요 직원 분들 정말 친절하세요 손도 빠르시고 헤어도 잘 세팅해주십니다 헤어 장식도 큰 거 골랐는데 그냥 하게 해주세요 ㅎㅎ 끝나고 기념품도 주셔서 만족 했습니다 저는 이거 입고 근처 가와이 칸지로 기념관부터 은각사 기요미즈데라 까지 방문 했습니다 버킷리스트 중 하나를 이뤄서 너무 행복했어요!!🥰 다음엔 기모노도 여기서 체험하려구요 정말 재밌었습니다!! **착용 할 때 배에 힘주시지 말고 힘을 다 풀고 있길 권장합니다... 저는 이걸 알고 있었는데 일행들은 몰라서 힘을 줬더니 압박감으로 좀 힘들어 했습니다

The shop owner speaks Mandarin, which is very convenient for us as visitors from Malaysia. We arrived at 9:00 a.m. and were able to start our service even before our scheduled 9:30 a.m. appointment. There is a wide selection of kimonos with matching accessories to choose from, and the staff are skilled at helping both adults and children dress in kimono or yukata, as well as styling your hair. The only downside is that it’s quite a long walk from the bus stop to the shop.

Booked my kimono rental last minute through Klook, and the experience was amazing! The staff were so kind and helped me choose accessories that perfectly matched my skin tone and the summer weather. They were patient, friendly, and made the whole process easy. The sweet souvenir gift at the end was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend!
