Penghu Water activities

Everything was very pleasant. Although we originally booked for 7:40 PM, they called us in advance to ask if we wanted to move the time up because there weren't enough people. We agreed, and actually, watching the sunset at 6:30 PM was perfect. We also enjoyed a relaxing evening of squid fishing. The crew members were all very polite and always smiling. My children were more interested in the video games, but at least it offered another option. The boat was really new, beautiful, and very clean. The squid noodles had just the right amount of salt and were delicious, and there were also jelly and brown sugar cakes. All the passengers were quite well-behaved and not noisy, creating a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which we were very lucky to experience. Also, each fishing rod was prepared for us, and they looked very neat, which was nice. Even though no one on the boat caught any squid, the sea breeze was very pleasant, and it wasn't too hot. With the gentle sunset, I think this experience was truly wonderful.

Taking the bus is comfortable; you don't have to worry about sun or rain. We also had a professional tour guide who provided explanations and enthusiastically helped us find good angles for photos. When we arrived in Wang'an, they arranged a meal for us. It would be even better if we could have a bit more time at each attraction.

Experience: The sunrise is incredibly moving, watching the sun emerge from the horizon. Because sunrise tours require an early start, there are usually fewer people, and the instructors often take the opportunity to capture many beautiful photos. Safety: The waters around Suogang are actually quite safe. Under the guidance of an instructor and with the protection of a life vest, it's quite easy to get back on the board if you accidentally fall into the water (the instructor will also help you get back on).

The experience was great! We saw lots of corals, and it was really nice that the shop owner gave us a brief introduction to the ecology of Penghu. We were also happy to learn about the conservation efforts that the local government and residents have been making. Hope more corals will thrive and survive!

We were very fortunate that this was a small group. The tour quality was fantastic, with no overcrowding or trouble hearing the guide. It was well worth it, and both the elderly and the children loved it. The tide time also happened to be after 2:00 PM, making it pleasantly warm and just right.

Fish Trapping with Stone Piles Stone piling is another traditional fishing method in Penghu, besides stone weirs. It involves building stone piles (piers) in the intertidal zone during low tide. After fish use these piles as habitats, a net is used to catch them when the stone piles are dismantled. My younger daughter and I participated in this activity last year. She couldn't stop talking about it afterward and kept saying she wanted to bring her mom and sister to experience it. So, we took the opportunity during this trip to Penghu to do it again.

This was our first time trying SUP with the kids, and the instructor's explanation was very detailed. He was also great at interacting with the children. My son had a wonderful time playing with the instructor 😃. Even though I, as the mom, never quite found the courage to stand up, I still left with a fantastic impression of SUP 👍🏼.

You'll receive a detailed text message before the activity, and the meeting point is easy to find. Even the changing facilities are exceptionally clean. The instructor's guidance is easy to understand, and they'll be your best photographer and escort. You can bring your own water bottle, and snacks will also be provided. Even though the instructors are young, they are very dedicated. I hope they continue to maintain this high standard. My first diving experience was truly fantastic; the instructor was professional and meticulous. If you're visiting Penghu, choosing this place is an excellent idea! Everyone, please make sure to read the pre-trip information. Before diving, the instructor will give a lesson, so pay close attention. Underwater, the instructor even made bubble rings, which I initially thought was a new hand signal, but it turned out to be a fun little game! The overall experience was absolutely wonderful!
