About Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre

The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre collaborates with arts and cultural groups and community partners to promote and develop local Chinese culture. Through engaging and accessible content, we hope to nurture greater appreciation of our multi-cultural identity and a stronger sense of belonging.

Opened by our Patron, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 19 May 2017, our Centre in the heart of city welcomes everyone to enjoy exhibitions, fairs, performances, seminars, talks, workshops and other cultural activities throughout the year.

Q2: Accessibility at the Centre?

Accessible Parking

There are designated parking lots on every level of the carpark for patrons with mobility difficulties. They are located next to the lift lobby.

Lift Access

All our lifts are wheelchair-accessible. Lift announcements, and braille and tactile markings have been installed to assist the visually impaired when using the lifts.

*As part of our safe management measures, the lifts in the carpark lobbies have been temporarily shut down. If you need help to get around our centre after you have parked your car, please call 6812 7229 and we will be happy to assist you.

Wheelchair Loan Service

Wheelchairs are available for loan at no charge for use within our premises. Please approach our staff at Level 1 reception or contact us at enquiries@singaporeccc.org.sg if you require the use of a wheelchair during your visit.

Accessible Toilets

Accessible toilets are conveniently located on every level of the Centre, except Level 2.

Nursing Rooms

The toilets at Levels 1 and 7 also serve as nursing rooms for parents with young children.

Braille Handrails

Handrails at our premises are installed with braille information to guide the visually impaired.

Special Seating Arrangements

Accessible seats are available for patrons with mobility difficulties at our performance venues. Please indicate this request at the time of booking tickets so that arrangements can be made. You may also contact us at enquiries@singaporeccc.org.sg to make arrangements.

Rest Areas

Benches and seats are placed around our premises in quiet areas for patrons’ use.

Our programmes aim to be accessible people with different needs and backgrounds.

Bilingual Programmes

All our programmes provide English and Chinese text or subtitles.

Virtual Guided Tours

On-demand virtual guided tours of our permanent exhibition are available for organisations with elderly or special needs. These tours are conducted in English, Mandarin, or dialects. Please contact guidedtours@singaporeccc.org.sg for more information or to make a tour request.
