Drifting (Overture) | Shen Chao-Liang Photography Exhibition Information

The inaugural exhibition of the New Year, "Drifting (Overture) - Shen Chao-Liang Photography Exhibition", will be grandly presented at AKI Gallery. This solo exhibition marks the first complete local presentation of the "Drifting" series (2015-2024) in Taiwan, following the artist’s receipt of the International Award of The Photographic Society of Japan in 2024 and the subsequent large-scale retrospective exhibition held at Higashikawa Bunka Gallery in Hokkaido, Japan. This exhibition invites viewers into a profound exploration of SHEN’s observations on Taiwan’s historical and contemporary contexts, offering a cross-temporal and transnational discourse on its socio-political landscape.

From February 13th (Thu) to March 22nd (Sat), 2025, the artist SHEN Chao-Liang, through his unique perspective and symbolic imagery of landscapes, will guide viewers into an immersive dialogue which leads to a visually striking journey imbued with a strong sense of the times.
