Oi! Onsite: The Stillness Between | Exhibition Introduction

Oi! OnSite invites artists to explore the space and create site-specific artworks, infusing this Grade II historic building with fresh imagination and interpretation. We are excited to welcome artist Chan Sai-lok to present the urban landscape surrounding Oi! through the lens of modern literati painting and offer his observations and thoughts at Oi! Warehouse.

Titled "The Stillness Between", this exhibition captures the quiet ambience of the district at night. Through Chinese aesthetic perspective and composition, ink art techniques and video, Chan invites the visitors to engage with the everyday scenery in a new way. His poetic interpretation of the Oi! Warehouse evokes the rhythms of the city from dawn to dusk, infusing contemporary relevance into this historically rich space.
