The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, has collaborated with maestros such as Toscanini, Rachmaninoff, Mahler, and Levine. They have also collaborated with luminaries such as Rubinstein, Perlman, and Kissin, firmly holding its place at the summit of the music world. In 2024, under the baton of the third-ever Music Director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, renowned as the "greatest generator of energy on the international podium" for his immense stage charisma, dynamism, and artistic energy, alongside Lisette Oropesa, one of today's most beloved lyric coloratura sopranos, and over a hundred members of the Met Orchestra, they will embark on its first-ever Asian tour in its 140-year history. The National Concert Hall shall resonate with the glorious sound of the Metropolitan Opera for the first time since its opening over 30 years ago!
