Join Astro Boy for an Energetic Skiing Tour at LCX this Christmas!
Soar into an energetic Christmas journey with Astro Boy at LCX! From 17 November, 2023 to 1 January, 2024, Astro Boy, the beloved animated character, will be landing in at “LCX x ToyQube Ski Station” to celebrate a white Christmas with all of you! LCX has specially partnered with renowned toy designer and manufacturer ToyQube to bring the Astro Boy Ski Station concept to life, which is based on the initial concept of the Astro Boy Snowboarder by ToyQube founder Keith Poon. This exciting collaboration combines the iconic Astro Boy character with the holiday spirit, resulting in a meticulously designed ski resort theme. Visitors can also explore and purchase a wide range of Astro Boy collectibles and merchandise, including first-launched items created specifically for this event, making them truly special and valuable collectibles!
First Stop: Equip yourself to ski with Astro Boy at Active Skiing Zone
Experience the true essence of a white Christmas! Before hitting the slopes, you can visit the equipment room to gear up with ski suits and snowboards, and try on the iconic red boots worn by Astro Boy. Step into the Power-up Capsule to recharge yourself with abundant energy. Once you're ready, you will be greeted by a 1.7-meter-tall Astro Boy dressed in ski attire! And don’t forget to hop on the chairlift with Astro Boy and Uran and ascend to the snowy mountainside!
Second Stop: Embark on the Sightseeing Cable Car Tour
Don't worry if you don't ski! Let’s get on the Sightseeing Cable Car and enjoy the scenic views, while taking photos with the 1.5-meter-tall Astro Boy snowman. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the free photo-taking activity inside the cable car, creating beautiful memories with friends and family this Christmas!
Third Stop: Immerse yourself into ToyQube x Chino x Astro Boy street vibes at Skateboarding Area
Astro Boy is not just a beloved character but also an icon of local pop culture! After finishing the ski tour, follow Astro Boy to the street-style Skateboarding Zone, where you can find the Hoodie Astro Boy statue designed by renowned Hong Kong artist Chino. This zone showcases some of the ToyQube’s hot picks and never-before-seen collectible toys, with the skateboard ramp and hoodie featuring a Japanese phrase calligraphed by Chino, “Tetsuwan Atomu” (Astro Boy’s Japanese name). This ToyQube x Chino’s collaboration is also available for sale as a 36 inch tall figure, which you can collect from Xplus! Fans must not miss!
