Happy Wednesday 2023 - November Introduction

Milan Fashion Week may be over but the most fashionable event in Hong Kong is yet to come. This November, Happy Wednesday launches “Race In Style,” a series of events that will bring an extra dose of style and glamour to the horse racing community.

The Happy Valley Racecourse has always been a place to see and be seen in, making it the perfect venue for horse racing fans and fashionistas to show off their unique style. Every Wednesday from November 1 to 22, it will be transformed into a chic fashion hub where visitors can walk the “runway” and show off their latest looks.

Eye-catching and stylish installations will create the perfect backdrop for photos so guests can channel their inner supermodel for the evening. A curated dress-up wardrobe allows visitors to “shop” from a range of chic and fun accessories to add a final touch of glamour to their outfits. Guests are also invited to dress to impress and show of their catwalk worthy looks for a chance to selected as the coveted “HW Fashionista” each week and enjoy exclusive offerings.

November 8 promises to be a night of sartorial elegance dedicated to Italian style. Italy is the epicenter of luxury fashion and is renowned for its iconic brands and designers that celebrate craftsmanship, elegance, and artistry. The event will also celebrate other Italian delights including culinary specialties which will be served in the Beer Garden or Food Truck.

Happy Wednesday is known for its incredible entertainment and “Race In Style” will welcome stylish dancers and performers to the catwalks of Happy Valley Racecourse. Music from a selection of must-see bands including Vossa & Band, Chris Polanco, OnPoint and Jordan Road, will complete this month-long celebration of fashion and horse racing.

Free admission to Happy Valley night races throughout 2023

Starting this Wednesday (20 September) and running until December, members of the public and tourists can enjoy free admission to Happy Valley Racecourse’s Public Enclosure for evenings of fabulous fun and excitement at Hong Kong’s biggest and best mid-week party.

On Wednesday nights, the iconic Happy Valley Racecourse is home to the trackside thrill of Hong Kong’s world-class horse racing, as well as an array of thematic entertainment and gourmet delicacies from food trucks in the world-famous Beer Garden.
