Sonic Encounter｜Concert Introduction

A three-day experimental adventure in free improvisation

This July, Sonic Encounter returns with over a dozen Hong Kong musicians from electronic, jazz and contemporary classical music backgrounds inviting audience to a weekend of sonic experience that challenges conventional musical concepts.

On 14 and 15 July, artists come together in unexpected constellations for 30-minute, free-form, avant-garde encounters complemented with live visuals and lighting by on-site multimedia artists. The weekend wraps on Sunday 16 July with a collaborative two-hour finale featuring all performers.

All sessions are free of charge. The audience may enter and leave the venue at any time during the sessions. Full programme schedule will be announced closer to the event date.
