Yrellag Gallery proudly presents "(——)" : Vague Symbols, Visible Meanings, a duo exhibition featuring interdisciplinary artists itit Cheung @ititcheung and Kate Cheung @kateinthe_ . The exhibition will run from June 3rd to June 28th, 2023. Kate Cheung's works explore the role of line in literature, art, humanities, and society. The line symbolizes the bridge between internal dialogue and personal growth in her eyes. Her works are characterized by bold, flowing lines that move across the canvas with fluidity and grace. In contrast, itit Cheung's works explore the symbolism of brackets and dashes. Brackets guide the content of remarks waiting to be filled in, while dashes represent an extension and transformation that connects memories and identity. His works are delicate, featuring intricate line work and nature-inspired motifs. "(——)" offers visitors an opportunity to contemplate their own understanding of the concept and connect with the artwork in a personal, meaningful way. We invite everyone to visit our Gallery to experience more about the ideas of artists’ multidisciplinary approach and thought-provoking works of art!
