Gravity|Introduction to large-scale art installations

As one of the highlights of Swire Properties Art Month, Pacific Place is honored to exhibit the world premiere of "Gravity", which also marks the first expansion of Art Basel Hong Kong's "Encounters" exhibition area To the outside of the exhibition hall for the public to enjoy. Swire Properties, a brand partner of Art Basel Hong Kong, will present this extraordinary art installation at Pacific Place from March 17 to April 2.
Pacific Place is committed to bringing together art lovers and the public to immerse themselves in a variety of unique art experiences from multiple sources, so as to continue to promote art and cultural exchanges in the community and encourage the public to integrate art into their daily lives. This is the second exhibition of "Gravity" in Pacific Place, inviting viewers to go out of the daily norms and explore the diversity of art together.

An Unexpected Art Moment – Gravity
"Gravity" created by the well-known Los Angeles conceptual artist Awol Erizku is one of the 14 large-scale art installations exhibited at Art Basel Hong Kong exhibition "Artspace". This year, the theme will be "This present, moment" ("This present, moment"), curated by Alexie Glass-Kantor, executive director of Sydney Artspace and curator of the Australian Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale.
The 10-meter-high sculpture "Gravity" is based on King Tutankhamun. It is known as a symbol of omniscience and wisdom, and its influence has been unquestionable since ancient times. The playful works explore the ideas of eternity and existence through ancient people and events, which will deeply attract visitors to stop and take a closer look.
Immerse yourself in the world of Anwar Eric's inspiration

Eric is a cross-border artist, known for his unique visual language and outstanding image expression. His works range from urban culture to art history classics, which can be the source of his creation. Eric invites visitors to walk into the tunnel in "Gravity", share his footprints on the journey, participate in a unique interactive experience with the audience, and then immerse himself in the world of his inspiration.
