HKT x WESTK POPFEST: Unboxed Introduction
A colourful celebration of pop transforming The Box – Freespace’s black box theatre space – with four surprising dance party sessions
For one weekend in March, The Box at Freespace is transformed into a vibrant dance party space with four themed celebrations of Hong Kong pop music. Merging the avant-garde spirit of black box theatre with some of the city’s most experimental pop, the sessions offer a weekend of colourful musical surprises and visual effects by a live VJ. Join us for a fun, feel good weekend!

REVERB: Electronic pop with bubblegum vibes and psychodelic visuals showcasing Merry Lamb Lamb, Rock Hill Street and Kiri T
FREQUENCY: Edgy, urban sounds from women singer-songwriters Anna hisbbuR, CHANKA, Sophy Wong and Kendy Suen
ECHO: Whimsical band sounds with Goodnight Lillie, WHIZZ and FIESTER
DISTORT: Anime-style Japanese pop featuring mansonvibes x Lagchun, Otome Syndream and Mike Orange x UCHU YUREI
