Daydream Believer|Upcycled Wearables & Art Exhibition 2022 Introduction
Reshaping trendy classics to achieve sustainable fashion milestones in Hong Kong

Dream Chaser: Upcycling Clothing Art Exhibition 2022 will be held from December 9th to 18th, 2022. Earthero Studio uses #LifeExtensionOfThings as the theme, hoping that the public can break the traditional thinking framework, re-learn to appreciate the essence of things, and reflect The continuation of the item's life.

Earthero Studio is the first to use cloth tails and reusable materials to create a large-scale art installation - named "Cloud", which will be exhibited in Heath Lane together with six art paintings. In addition, the exhibition content Classics Reimagined limited series will also be exhibited at the other side of the Heath Space at the same time, and a shed is specially selected as a clothing display stand. The denim and Japanese-style jackets and T-shirts in the latest series are all made of shredded cloth tail, and are mixed with the upcycling of famous brand second-hand bags. Combined with the neon lights hanging in the exhibition area, the installations and clothing styles in the entire exhibition area pay tribute to the Hong Kong culture of the 1980s, recreating the nostalgic atmosphere of old Tsim Sha Tsui. Earthero Studio chose Heath, located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, as the first stop to showcase the new collection in 2023. Heath is a brand new and diverse space that encourages creativity in all forms.

Two workshops will also be held on weekends, namely the "Coaster Workshop" using upcycled denim scraps and cloth tails, and the "Cement Immortal Vase Workshop" designed together with Vase by Su.

About the Artist
Earthero Studio
Earthero Studio is co-founded by three artists, Bertha, Carrie and Joe. Unusually, they did not pursue a career in the arts directly after graduating from university.
Bertha
Bertha is the lead artist and curator of Earthero Studio's Classics Reimagined 2.0 series and Daydream Believer 2022. Bertha comes from a very traditional Hong Kong family. She was taught from a young age to have a "secure" job with income prospects. Despite her passion for the arts, she wasn't allowed to pursue an art degree because her family didn't see art as something she could do for a living. Therefore, Bertha entered JP Morgen step by step after graduation to start her career. Later, when she shifted from the financial industry to the real estate industry, she began to have more time to run blogs related to sustainable development, and at the same time draw part-time. For Bertha, Earthero Studio is not only a portal for her to start experimenting with various paintings, but also a stage where she can share her creations.
Carrie
Carrie is not only the chief designer of Earthero Studio clothing and accessories, but also one of the painters of the Classics Reimagined 2.0 series. Driven by a passion for art and design, Carrie studied a Surface Textiles degree at the London College of Fashion. She then worked for major fashion brands, including Chanel and Topshop, specializing in visual merchandising. After 2019, Carrie shifted her interest from fashion to the art world, and co-founded the Vase by Su art studio with her friends, specializing in the production of limited edition cement vases with preserved flowers. As a stop of her art journey, she chose to join Earthero Studio, which can satisfy her two major interests of fashion and art at the same time.
Joe
Joe is the curator of the project curation and creative concept of Earthero Studio. Joe was fascinated by art and design since childhood, but due to family pressure, he resolutely gave up his dream of becoming an architect. After graduating from the London School of Economics (London School of Economics), he chose to work in accounting. After working in the Big Four for four years, he successfully obtained a professional qualification certificate. But in order to get out of his comfort zone, Joe chose to try various business ventures, including interior design, sustainable development and fashion, and the accumulation of these different experiences was later transformed into the inspiration of Earthero Studio's works.
