the Broadway musical, Stephen Sondheim.

A sparkling compendium of 27 of Sondheim’s greatest songs that will make you laugh and, with his trademark sharp lyrics and music that captures the whole spectrum of emotions. The songs explore love and loss, shot through with tragedy and comedy. This musical feast has everything — a sampler of the work of Broadway’s finest — performed by an ensemble of eight young, accomplished artists.

Stephen Sondheim, one of the greatest composers and lyricist of musical theatre, who left us in 2021, won eight Tony Awards, eight Grammys, a Pulitzer Prize and an Oscar. In his glittering career, he wrote lyrics for the musicals West Side Story and Gypsy, as well as music and lyrics for Follies and Sweeney Todd.
