A real-time interactive utopian dreamscape beyond the borders of musical conventions

A multi-dimensional musical experience and sumptuous feast of light in which space and time are transcended. Award-winning pianist Yu Xiangjun teams up with new media artist Da Yan in this imaginative presentation in which a live piano performance is married with a multimedia installation. This pioneering hypermedia piano recital transports the audience to a real-time interactive dreamscape of light and shadow, sound and rhythms. With Steinway's high-resolution player piano SPIRIO|r, Yu will perform—alongside herself—the piano duet version of The Rite of Spring using Stravinsky’s own arrangement.
