B&B Hotel München-City

Air conditioning was terrible. Front office staff on check in was rude and actually yelled at us while asking for clarification. Parking garage we were directed too was terrible and we were told the rate to park was 16.00 euros a day but were charged the normal rate. No one at the hotel knew how to fix this or seemed to care. You do not get room service every day we did not get it st all during our stay and the bed pillows were very lacking as well. Hotel is located in a filthy section of the city. You will see homeless and even drug addicts and drunks later at night. Not a family friendly location. One good thing is hotel main doors did lock where you needed your key card to enter the hotel. Very disappointed in this stay.

The hotel seemed fine. Not in the best area but not terrible. Two of our three rooms for my family had poorly working AC so we requested a room change. The daytime staff was wonderful about it. We thought our problems were solved until I got up around 2am to use the bathroom and when I flipped on the light, 12-15 cockroaches of varying sizes scuttled around all over the floor and walls. Yeah, not the best. I must say, the breakfast buffet was lovely and we all enjoyed it. I’m just hoping I’m not bringing home some little travelers in my suitcase!

Overall a great stay, checking in was easy and the room was very clean. I slept great (no issues with noise or anything outside) and the A/C worked perfectly. The staff was always present when needed. I also appreciated that they let me keep my luggage there after my check out so I didn't have to carry it around while enjoying the rest of my time in Munich.

The best thing was the working air conditioning. Asides from that, the safe was not working, mattresses unsupportive and uncomfortable, pillows limp and thin (and only one per person), street was noisy with bar goers until early morning. Streets filthy because of bar patrons. Two strip clubs across the street have outdoor tvs with videos you may not want your children to see. My messages to staff went unanswered. Even Expedia tried to help me modify the booking but they were not able to reach anyone at the 24 hour desk.

Simple hotel located close to central station, which is very useful, but also which means it is in a busy area with all kinds of people (day and night). However, the room was quiet. The room was small but clean and the amenities were very minimal (no coffee machine, no fridge). But it had air conditioning. The carpet should probably be changed (or taken off). We did not try the breakfast. Hotel is fine if your standards are not too high on confort.

Clean place! 10 min walk from the central station, it is a small hotel but it’s still really nice!

We had a good time in this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. It is also within walking distance of the U-Bahn station which made travelling around the city much easier than by car. If you have a car it is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel to their partnered garage and they offer validation which makes it cheaper than parking in a random garage.

The room itself was clean and tidy however the area was a little bit rowdy at night time. traffic was loud in the mornings however our room was high enough up to nullify with earplugs The staff were kind and helpful when we needed fresh towels and pillows. Just be aware that if you book a double room, you may in fact get two single beds. The location was great only two minutes from the central station and a 10 minute walk to centre of town. It was a nice coffee shop close to the hotel.

Good price quality, good location

Bad locations lots of riff raff next to strip clubs and gambling halls. Room had less amenities than what you will be expecting but the staff is really great.
