Friendly staff and a great central location if you want to be in the heart of Queenstown and enjoy the nightlife. However, if you’re visiting for the famous lake and mountain views, I would suggest looking elsewhere, as many rooms overlook nearby buildings and parking areas.
The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Despite being advertised as a buffet, the selection was very limited and not what you would expect from a five-star hotel. It became even more restricted during our stay, with some hot buffet items removed and replaced by a menu where guests could choose only one dish.
The room was comfortable overall, but the mattress was poor quality and felt uneven, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, great staff and location, but the breakfast and bedding fell well below five-star expectations.
