The location of the property was good. Just a short walk away from trams, restaurants, bars, and museums. We purposely booked this hotel because of the a/c, but when we arrived, the a/c in the room wasn't working and they had a portable a/c unit in the room that had to be vented to the outside, meaning the double door window had to be open all the time, so the room was humid and loud. They didn't make up our room, and since the staff is there during limited hours, we had to call someone and beg for clean towels, water and coffee, which they did bring, but didn't bring water or clean cups. We had a very early flight, and at 5am, there was no hot water, and again, no one there to ask about it. Overall, the place was ok, just disappointing when you pay extra for a nicer room and it wasn't a good experience. It does look better in the photos, but the room was large, and shower was big with decent water pressure. Nice to have the fridge with water, and the Nespresso machine.

Great

staff were wonderful, rooms well-appointed and affordable, free quality toothbrushes were a bonus; the only issue we had was that our room was the front room on the ground floor near the front door, so it was periodically a little loud (I'm sure if we'd have been on an upper floor that this wouldn't have been an issue). close to everything while not being too busy. recommended.

This was the worst stay I ever had in my life. The room was awful and misrepresented. When I complained, staff came up and said they were flabbergasted by the condition of the room. They tried to move us , but the other hotels were booked. I was offered free soda and water for the stay but that was already included. The room was dirty, moldy and not updated. I was told by staff the pictures are ten years old. That they told the owner to update them. The bed was caving in, it was moldy and ripped. The pillows were not even bed pillows. They were throw pillows, put inside a pillowcase. I was supposed to have a balcony overlooking the canal. It was definitely not a balcony and I saw a piece of the canal from across the street, but mostly looked at trash cans. There was no nightstand. They used an ottoman. The chair at the end of the bed was so stained and gross. I had to cover it because it creeped me out. The shower was moldy, and the ceiling was caving in. I was told there would be luxury bath items. The soap dispensers did not even work and I was told that that was because the owner wanted to save money on products I complained and it never got me anywhere. We stayed here for eight nights, it was horror do not stay here. This place is terrible when you walk in there are stains all over the carpet. There is not really a front desk just a little cubbyhole and no one is ever really there. Buyer beware . Stay away. I was told by staff that Amsterdam is a dirty city

Staff very helpful and polite. Stairs extremely steep, but they have a lift. Also, steep stairs to get into building, so be aware. Hotel is an old building and obviously difficult to take care of compared to a new building. Room is comfortable. Bed comfortable. Lots of dusting needed. Bathroom clean on arrival; however, not cleaned during stay. Room AC was apparently broken as we had a portable unit that had to vent out of the French doors which when oven to vent, warm air came in. Mini fridge supposed be restock daily, but a few days while there it was not and we had to leave a note. I will say this was a nice area to stay in and close to coffee, restaurants and metro stops.

Good

Solo stay

Well I got double booked for this room somehow.. but that wasn't my main issue.. The A/C wall unit was out.. And they had a floor unit with a heat return going out the window.. It did little to nothing.. Was very uncomfortably hot in my room..Fix the A/Ac and place would of been great for a solo traveler like myself

Fantastic

You could not ask for a better location, more charming rooms, or better hosts than at this wonderful, newly remodeled place. Both the bedrooms and the bathroom were spacious, with a view of rooftops and windmills. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, with a quick walk to the very center of Brugge, and all it has to offer. Breakfast was absolutely beyond imagining with a wide variety of choices, and fresh squeezed juice and desserts with every breakfast. The choices were better than at any five-star hotel, and in beautiful surroundings. I would never stay anywhere else in this town than Mirabel!

Location is great! Check-in was fast and efficient. As any other hotel in Amsterdam rooms are small but again location is great and lots to do.

As much as I would like to give a good review, as the owners were lovely and arranged wine, chocolates and balloons in our room as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. The hotel had a very strange vibe. I was shocked at the cleanliness and condition of the property. The flooring is in a terrible condition and needs replacing, the room, although surface clean was in need of dusting and a deep clean. On a positive note, the elevator was working and the location was fantastic.
