The location is everything! Wonderful view of the valley, the hotel is a but outside the city center, but it is still walking walking distance. The mountain view was amazing to wake up to. Also from my balcony I can see Moana Cafe. The beds were luxurious made beddings and pillows were plush. Shower worked well with a soaking tub perfect after a long day. The breakfast buffet at A Linh Restaurant was fantastic. I also had treatment at the Spa for 20% discount.

I really wanted to love this place, especially since my Hanoian friends recommended it. The start was great: friendly faces, a cool drink, and a fast check-in. But once we got to our 6th floor Deluxe room, the disappointment set in. I paid extra for the deluxe valley view, expecting to lounge on the patio at sunset. Instead, the patio was a tiny, iron barred cage. A few other things missed the mark: the fridge was off or broken (warm beer is a sad sight after a 7-hour drive), and they have a rigid policy of fining guests 2 million VND for outside food or drinks. The included breakfast was a mix of Asian/Western cuisine and offered lots of varieties including vegetarian options. The staff are the real stars here, they are wonderful and go out of their way to help, but the hotel management needs to rethink their "5-star" experience. Save your money and skip the Deluxe upgrade.

I decided to transfer to this hotel as I didn't feel comfortble with my initially booked accommodation. Fortunately, there were still available rooms. The receptionist, Daisy, was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. She provided all the necessary information during check-in and even shared her contact information in case I needed any assistance throughout my stay. The room was spacious,clean,inviting,very comfortable with complete amenities and stunning view of the mountains. The ensuite toilet and bath was equally clean and well maintained. Just wish there was a bathroom lock. Breakfast offered a wide selection at the buffet which I enjoyed while taking in the breathetaking mountain view- a truly unforgettable experience. This hotel is highly recommended and will definitely be one of my top choices when I return to Sapa.
