Very friendly staffs. The location is excellent, near convenient stores and restaurants. We stayed with infant and everything we need is there. You can also leave the luggage in hotel for few hours after checkout. I’ll definitely recommend this to friends.

It's my third time in the Greater Tokyo Area and we always book in Ueno for familiarity. It's our first time to stay in Sotetsu Fresa Inn chain of hotels and must say we are impressed. Though we chose a booking with no breakfast, this was not an issue. They have all the amenities you would expect of a Japanese hotel. Room was tight for two but it served its purpose as we were out all day and just returned to hotel to sleep. Though the room was tight, the comfort was there.

Our first stay in a Sotetsu Fresa Inn hotel chain. Chose this branch as Ueno eas our homebase. Initially booked the room solo but since my daughter decided to come, contacted the hotel through A***a and got the paid room reservations modified to included the 2nd guest, with some add-ons, of course. BUT, at the price point when I first got this during the Klook sale event, still very, very affordable for a Tokyo hotel.
