Overall I would give this hotel more like 4.5 stars, but I rounded up because the breakfast was just that good. Overall positive experience. The breakfast was out of this world good - delicious fresh orange juice and french toast as well as other items. The location was also great if you want to visit the Asakusa area and there is a nice view from the lobby on the 13th floor and terrace. However, the standard hollywood rooms were really dark (all black) and super tiny. I would not recommend the hotel to a couple who has a lot of luggage or more than 2 people. For someone traveling alone or someone who prioritizes location above all, I think its great and you'll have a good experience but I might look into other options if traveling with a family.

bed size is good for 2 adults 1 one kid or 3 slim adults. room is cosy. I like they clean up the room daily. High end coffee capsules are replenished everyday. 3-5 mins walk from Asakusa famous temple. Just note the train station exit to the hotel direction only has staircase. On their top floor, one level above the reception area (no lift), has beautiful night view to Tokyo tower. Hotel don't have self service washer. Need to walk abt 5-8mins to one nearby out of the hotel. Note their operation hours. Last entry is close to 12midnight. After that you cant enter already but can exit. The light will be dim down too. Overall I like laundromat! Dont need to bring so much clothes which can lighten our luggage and best of all, when I reached home, I don't have tons of clothes to wash and dry, especially travelling with family members.

we had the nicest hotel we could ask for in asakusa! the view in the hotel is perfect and they also had roof top for sight seeing. the hotel is also perfect in exploring asakusa district just around the corner in kaminarimon gate and senso ji temple, just at the ground floor is the supermarket and drugstore as well. over all we enjoyed our stay here

We booked this for our anniversary and birthday celebration and it was just fantastic. It was such an insanely beautiful hotel and not like the usual cramped and small ones. The room we booke was super classy, chic, and spacious. It also smelled clean and they even gave us a suprise gift and letter. Such thoughtful staff and we had such an amazing and relaxing stay! must book via Kloom too to save money!

This was such a great deal from Klook! we saved so much money booking on Klook instead of booking it direct or from other sites. The Gate Asakusa was such a wonderful and beautiful hotel not like othet usual Japan hotels which was cramped and tight. The room we had was super duper spacious and had enough space to walk around and lounge around. what a steal indeed! The view from our room was superb!
