For the price we paid, it definitely wasn’t worth it. We ate at Sangra one night, and although it could have been great - it was a struggle to get service (constantly trying to get servers attention for everything) - not worth the 300 euro dinner. Buffet was convenient and good in the morning. 80% of the shuttl

Stayed with kids

We stayed at the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa to celebrate our wedding anniversary and, unfortunately, left feeling underwhelmed. At over $1,000 USD per night, we expected a much more memorable and luxurious experience. While the property itself is beautiful and the private transfer we arranged and paid for ($150 dollars) was convenient, many aspects of the stay felt surprisingly average for a hotel at this price point. I had informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary, yet there was no acknowledgment or special touch in the room. This may seem minor, but at this level of hospitality, personalized service is part of what guests are paying for. Another disappointment was that the spa requires an additional fee. For a resort in this price range, we expected at least some level of spa access to be included. Maybe just the indoor pool access? The room was comfortable but fairly standard and did not feel significantly different from what you might find at a much lower-priced hotel. Overall, the stay was pleasant enough, but the value simply wasn’t there for us. Venice has many luxury hotel options, and if we return, we would likely choose a different property. We expected a luxury experience and received something that felt much more ordinary.

Fantastic
Perched on its own private island in the Venetian Lagoon, the JW Marriott Venice is a peaceful escape from the city’s crowds. The setting is stunning—lush gardens, elegant design, and sweeping water views—while the rooms are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully styled. The rooftop pool is a standout, offering unforgettable sunset views over Venice, and the dining is fresh, seasonal, and beautifully done. What truly makes this property special is the calm it provides—after a busy day in Venice, returning here feels like a reset. Service is warm, polished, and consistently attentive.

Solo stay

I had an amazing time at the JW Marriott in Venice. The reception was quite welcoming and was able to accommodate me with an upgraded room which I really appreciated. Very attentive to my needs and breakfast. Brunch was five star. Thank you for the stay.
