Fantastic

Solo stay

One of my favourite things about this hotel is the amazing staff that are on reception. Every single time I stay, I’m welcomed with such warmth and kindness. I was welcomed by a really lovely lady last time, Anna. Nothing was too much trouble, happy, kind, helpful. Thank you Anna, I really appreciate you. Always the same feeling here, that is really good to have when you’re a solo traveller. Also with regard to the amazing staff, the man that greets you outside is also kind, helpful, happy, just lovely. He helps me with all my luggage every single time without fail. Doubletree, you have a fantastic team, so hope they get the recognition they truly deserve. A big thank you from me!

Great
As beautiful as the room was our only downfall was that the beds were too hard. Heard no noises from traffic or planes or people for that matter. The kids slept a dream, I’m just picky with a bed. Would have preferred a more softer approach before a long very early flight. The shuttle to the airport was there when we got outside but just drove off without speaking to us. So we just walked which was super easy, just have to get across a busy road but at that time of the morning was absolutely fine. Took around 10 minutes to get to terminal 2.

It's ok for a quick stop over, the rooms could be cleaner and are a bit dated. But good access to the airport and early morning flight.
