A wonderful stay at a definite 5 star property. Our view room was compact but very comfortable. The staff were 5 star as well - friendly, professional and very accommodating. Loved the location close to Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens and around the corner from the Lancaster Gate Tube station. Highly recommended!

A fantastic hotel with spotless, well-appointed rooms and exceptional staff who were friendly, professional, and always happy to help. We had a minor issue with the air conditioning, but it was resolved immediately. What really stood out was the excellent customer service—they even sent a follow-up email after we had checked out to apologise for the inconvenience. A thoughtful touch that was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Below average
The Royal Lancaster London was a disappointing experience and fell well below the standard of a five-star hotel. The customer service was consistently poor, staff were neither welcoming nor attentive, and interactions often felt defensive rather than accommodating. Guests were not greeted upon arrival, creating an uninviting first impression. The room amenities also felt dated and did not reflect the quality expected of a luxury property. Compared with other five-star hotels in Central London, this hotel was distinctly underwhelming. I would not recommend it to anyone seeking the level of hospitality and service expected from a true five-star experience.
