Shinagawa Prince Hotel N Tower

Room was so small and restaurant staff was unfriendly. I cannot recommend stay at N tower. Suddenly I am not.

The room was much smaller than expected. We were offered early check-in for a $40 fee, but were able to get it for free by signing up for the hotel's membership program, which was a nice perk. Unfortunately, there weren't many hotel amenities, and the beds were quite hard. The pillows were also uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast was very disappointing. The eggs were runny, and one of the hot dishes appeared to be canned spaghetti in tomato sauce, which was not very appealing. The one positive was the location, which was convenient for accessing the train to the airport. Overall, this hotel did not meet our expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.

The convenient location is a major advantage. The relatively small room size is quite normal for hotels in Tokyo. There were some stains on the floor, which made the room look a bit dated. The simple breakfast included was reasonably good. If convenience and easy access to transportation are your main priorities, this hotel is still worth considering.

Excellent hotel is a great location.

This hotel is four separate hotels. We stayed at the N Tower. It can get confusing, but there is the main tower, annex, and east. Each tower has its own check-in counter. The towers are semi connected and can go between them. For those staying at the N Tower, the check-in counter is on the second floor. As you cross the street from Shinagawa Station, the very first tower you see above and behind the shop area is the N Tower. It is also the closest tower to the aquarium complex and all of the restaurants across from Shinagawa. The location is excellent, especially for those wanting to take the Shinkansen. The hotel is very nice, clean, and has all of the typical amenities. It has an ice machine on our floor as well as a pant press you can use. The room is tiny, typical of Japanese hotels. But this particular tower is smaller, with the room entry door being a tad over 6.2 inches. I like a hotel with strong shower water pressure. But this hotel blew my expectations. The pressure was super strong with outstanding water flow. Key note is, each towers have their own check-in reception counter.

fabulous breakfast for a hotel of this rating. super convenient location with lots of amenities. A perfect place for us when catching a flight out of Haneda Airport. Just a heads up about the North tower location. Though the address will take you away from the pedestrian crosswalk from the station, the faster way is to exit the station and the North Tower will be a 30 second 1 min walk from the crosswalk. You don't have to go in a huge circle. Again, North Tower is literally right across the street from the Metro crosswalk, a straight walk past some shops. The entrance to N Tower is up a couple of stairs and is not that obvious. Once you see it, you'll get it.

The room was very clean and functional. Breakfast was good and meet our need.
