The location is amazing. The rooms are clean, spacious, and perfectly suitable for a solo traveler like me. Came in with no expectation and it totally exceeded it! The price that you pay for is truly worth it for what it’s worth and it is a walking distance to all the hot spots in town such as Siam center, MBK, Ice Cream Samosorn (highly recommened!!) and many other places. It’s also about 5-7 minutes walk to BTS National Stadium and the lane that leads to the hotel is big and spacious, enough for cars to enter and safe enough at night. I would really recommend this hotel to all travellers visiting Bangkok.

* Most of the employees, except the employee stationed at the breakfast buffet, weren’t very welcoming. * Good food selection for the breakfast buffet, and the menu changes every day. * Our room was clean, but since the sink is outside the bathroom, it was quite a hassle. Female comfort room at the ground floor was extremely dirty and putrid. There are tissue wastes every where and smells like urine. Please do something about it. * You have to walk a few minutes from the main road, but it is also just a few minutes from the BTS station. * Good location, as it is near the famous Siam malls. * They let us leave our luggage for safekeeping while we explored Bangkok.

The staff were very kind and accomodating. The room was always clean. I loved my stay there, it was comfortable.

Check in was a breeze. The staff were professional and had a good grasp of English. They were always willing to help. Our rooms were kept clean and neat throughout our stay. Breakfast was good and more than enough. I would love to get the chance to stay here again!

All in all, I had an enjoyable stay at Vela Be Bangkok Siam. Great location and value for money room rates. They have hospitable and kind staff always ready to assist the guests as well as decent breakfast buffet choices. On the other hand, I would like to suggest for the hotel to include or build a small cabinet in the room to hang clothes and towels as there is not enough space with the provided clothes hook in the room especially for long staying guests.
