Transportation convenience: Very convenient, just two traffic lights from the station. Hotel location: City center. Breakfast: Acceptable. Cleanliness: The room wasn't cleaned on the second day. Cleaning fees might be higher, but it's fine if you clean it yourself. There's a pool available, but don't expect too much as it's not a standard pool.

Experience one of the best high-altitude views on the Sea of Japan side (highly recommended): All hotel rooms are located on the upper floors, from the 22nd to the 29th, offering incredibly expansive views. Whether you're looking down at the Shinano River estuary during the day, gazing at the Sea of Japan and Sado Island in the distance, or admiring the dazzling city lights and beautiful sunset of Niigata after dark, you can easily enjoy these unparalleled visual delights from the comfort of your room. The price is affordable, and it's right next to the station. At the front desk, you can help yourself to bath salts, candies, and sunscreen. The air conditioning was already on when I entered the room, which was a thoughtful touch. I recommend going early for breakfast, as the staff are slow to clear tables. There are two types of rice available for breakfast, along with curry sauce and raw egg. The breakfast was delicious.
