Our trip to Vung Tau was unforgettable, breathtaking sights, fascinating history, delicious food, and wonderful memories! Visiting the magnificent Jesus Christ Statue. Climbing 850 steps, followed by another 100 inside, a challenge but absolutely worth it for the incredible views. Bach Dinh (White Palace) was stunning, with beautiful architecture and gardens. We also enjoyed the Dinh Thang Tam Whale Museum, a fascinating history. The beach was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the ocean breeze, and take in the coastal scenery. Lunch was a delicious feast of fresh, flavourful local dishes! one photo of food much more came out. A huge thank you to our guide, Bao, who made the day truly special. His knowledge, kindness, great conversation, and excellent recommendations made us feel welcome and helped us get the most from our visit. Vung Tau🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟—and if you can have Bao as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable experience! ❤️Brett and Michelle

Fantastic 5.0
It wasn't as big as I expected, and even on a weekday, there were quite a few people. The pool was much smaller than I thought. The view was nice since it's on a mountain.

Such an amazing exễprience. The team was so friendly and supportive throughout the whole lesson and surfing session. As a first-time surfer, I was pretty nervous, but with their help, I was surfing so smoothly. And they even captured tons of awesome photos and videos for me. Highly recommend 😉

What to know before visiting Vung Tau

What to expect in Vung Tau

The Things to Do catalogue in Vung Tau is led by Water parks, then Tours, Cable cars and Museums, so you’ll find a mix of family-friendly splash attractions, guided outings and quick cultural stops suited to short stays. Peak demand is in April, while September is the quietest month, and that rhythm means the same experience is easier to find in September and can feel busiest around April.

How to choose what to book here

A key choice is whether you want splash-and-family fun or guided sightseeing, and pick the experience that fits your travel style. Tours offer the widest range of prices, from typically around USD 30 up to about USD 39, so they suit travelers who either want a budget entry or a more premium outing. Water parks are the most consistent family option with a narrow range around USD 9, making price-shopping less rewarding, while Museums are the most affordable way in at a typical USD 3 for filling gaps in a light itinerary. Cable cars sit in the mid-range where inclusions can vary, typically around USD 18, so check what’s offered before you book.

When travelers from the United States book

Most travelers book very close to arrival, with bookings typically made 1 day ahead, while the earliest planners book around 3 days out. With April as the busiest month, leaving that small cushion matters most if you’re traveling then.
