Things to do in Samut Songkhram Province

I think this price is excellent for a tour with a Japanese-speaking guide. This time, we were lucky enough to have a private tour with Japanese support just for my husband and me. Our guide, Kussuma, was fluent in Japanese, very knowledgeable, and above all, a wonderful and considerate person. Since my husband and I rarely take photos together, she skillfully took many pictures of us at various spots, and we even had breakfast together, which was a lot of fun. I highly recommend participating in this tour, as Maeklong and the Floating Market offer unique Thai experiences. After the tour, she also gave us advice for our subsequent sightseeing, making it a truly enjoyable day. Thanks to Kussuma, I've grown to love Thailand even more, and I hope to see her again next time! It was also reassuring that our hotel was near the meeting point, so we could use the restroom before the tour. This tour is truly highly recommended.

Our guide, Nok, was a great guide! She was super helpful and friendly, and she’s very passionate in helping us in Chinese, taking us to secret spots for foodies, and telling us interesting facts about Thai culture and that of our destinations. The coconut sugar factory was super nice, with all natural coconut products for us to taste, and an actual Thai house for us to visit. The floating market is also quite nice but I’d prefer traditional boats instead of diesel boats because of the smell. The railway market though was a bit underwhelming, and you actually do not get to ride the train itself which would have been an even better experience imo. Overall, with the affordable price I do recommend this trip to anyone interested in less-touristy travel in central Thailand.

Great one-day tour experience. The guide was enthusiastic and responsible, with clear explanations throughout the trip. The detailed introductions to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market, along with recommendations for local Thai food, made the visit more meaningful than just sightseeing. The schedule was well paced and relaxing. Highly recommended.

She is also very confident and has excellent driving skills, which made the journey feel safe and comfortable throughout. I'm Japanese. Although the tour was only available in English and Chinese, it wasn't a problem at all because the guide explained everything carefully in English. This is a full-day tour from morning to night, and I'm really glad I participated because I didn't have to worry about transportation. I joined alone, but most of the other participants were families or couples. The small group size suited me well. The guide was also incredibly kind, polite, and always smiling. I highly recommend the Amphawa firefly cruise! It was a memory that will last a lifetime!

Temples and Safari adventures are unforgettable. The kids enjoyed the safari trip especially seeing different kinds of wild animals. The chocolate ville is one of a kind not only the kids who enjoyed and had fun but the aduls as well. Hope we can do this again someday.

This is my third time visiting Maeklong and Damnoen Saduak. The elephant sanctuary is a first for me. Feeding the elephants gives a feeling of fulfillment; the elephants kept eating the food and would shake their ears and tails. I also bought an elephant to take back as a gift, as a form of support.
